Many many years ago, when the UK was first introduced to satellite tv, I used to spend quite a lot of time checking out Arte. Back in the days of analogue satellite, there seemed to be quite a number of sexually-orientated programmes such as 1970s documentries on sexuality and arty-type films that showed some surprisingly explicit material.

My question is does this kind of programming ever turn up on Arte these days?

For those who can receive HD, Arte now TX in HD 720P on Astra.

That´s the main link to their homepage, I saw they had a programming schedule there. As for a guide only containing their sexually oriented material, I don´t think that exists...unless it´s buried somewhere on their website.

My German isn't too hot, but with the help of an online translator, I managed to bring up some results using keywords, such as 'Sexualität' and 'Nackt'. I found plenty of juicy programmes that have already been shown, but unfortunatley, none that are due to be shown.

Also, is the link you gave me just for their homepage, or to a page detailing their sexual content?

Must have been just about 10 years since I saw the mentioned films (and many other goodies) on Arte, must admit I no longer check the channel very often, but I hear that they can still show good stuff!

Ah, I also used to enjoy Arte in the old days, they did show some very good movies from time to time, like Le bête, the devils etc etc...AND it was often the uncut versions! I guess as long as they called it culture and art they could get away with it!
