Storage of videos

Maybe it's a silly question, but why are the videos in this section mostly stored at file hosters where a (paid) premium account is needed for watching/downloading them? Instead of complete free (uploader + watching people) accounts like streamcloud.eu and others?

Why don't you ask those who put those hosted file links on this forum. Those persons have post it there and have there resons for.
I agree that there other methods not only cloud but the old school still working giant usenet (newsgroups). But one the resons can be that itsn't allowed too put those file on thier servers.

Can't see any difference, upload file size restrictions, file duration,etc still need a premium for fast download
