The "Battle of the Oranges" is a festival taking place in Ivrea, near Turin, every year during the historical Carnival, in which, after the historical parade,
there is a tradition of throwing oranges : very funny, even if sometimes people come back home with a black eye Big GrinBig Grin
It's similar to "Tomatina", but with oranges instead of tomatoes SmileSmile

The "Tomatina". Buñol. Valencia (Spain)

In August, when more presses the heat, in the city of Buñol, more than 20.000 persons, they throw tons of tomatoes some against others.
