would be a big surprise at the moment.
first we got Gebre Selassie as right back some weeks ago and second we need a replacement for Pizzaro and Jung and Pizza isn't really the same position. Big Grin
the next new player will be Kevin de Bruyne who isn't the Pizarro replacement too but at least the position behind Pizza and also someone who could strike, too.
Jung isn't discussed in Bremen since the last year and he'll continue another year in Frankfurt especially as Frankfurt has offered or will offer a new contract.
so at the moment very unlikely or a very big surprise.

but who expected that Voronin would join Dusseldorf? Big Grin

Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

Werder Bremen is going to sign right back Sebastian Jung from Eintracht Frankfurt. AS Roma looked for him too, but Eintracht refused AS Roma's proposal.
Coach Zdenek Zeman needs a right back.

West Ham United has signed striker Andy Carroll from Liverpool on loan (2 millions £ for loan and 22,5 millions£ for redemption).

don't be afraid. ;)
it's an important and needed cut and the next season will be better than the last 2 years.
I'm just afraid that half of the team isn't old enough to drive a car. Confused

no comments about the others. Confused

but a comment about the HSV (with a slightly green-white touch Tongue):

that match was a great chance to sit on the couch, drink some beer and have a lot of fun because of the Barca B or C or youth team making the HSV wet in its own stadium. but I must confess even with several years experience in watching the Werder "defence" (to quote Wiese: ...immer alle nach vorne gerannt.) I was nearly shocked about the Hamburger always 1 meter away and 1 step too late defence. Confused
selling Töre to russia and Rajkovic to Universum Boxing won't bring enough money to improve the defence.

Yes what a ridiculous event ! Thumb down And for sure a poor HSV - maybe the complete next season as well to finally go down in 2. Bundesliga ! ? Thumb down Angry

Another team from Spain would rather pay more than 1 million so they do not have to visit the small green-white village near the North Sea! Big Grin

Is Edu still in Schalke? I thought he was given to another Club again.

Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

It seems bayern Münich have interset in „Pitbull“ Nigel de Jong of Man.City.
Maybe just rumours, but I think it is not a bad idea.
He can fill the gap Mark v. Bommel has left years ago.
