'Art' over substance

I have been away yet I'm sure you have all missed these wonderful contributions to ETV world.

What a wonderful week I've had. No ETV on the hotel tv. Not even 3G available to make that video call. In fact I was as far away from ETV that I wanted to be.

But soon back to 'reality' and it's so encouraging to note that little has changed. A good night-show followed by a sleeping pill. And today a great 2nd-show cast who you can hardly see as the studio is only half-lit. And when the director - it must be Veni - who has given up (for a while) on the quasi wide-screen - to replace this with scenes ranging from half-light to no-light. Of course no one wants to see who they are speaking to on the phone. That would be a real novelty.

Maybe I am being a little harsh and you actually have a technical problem there. Somehow I think differently.

Have a nice day. See you soon.

Re: 'Art' over substance

Silly me, I thought it was Randa dancing or stripping that caused the light orgy effects chaos, must have been pure coincidence. I didn´t see her today perhaps she only appeared in the dark sequences and I missed her.

a couple of the last Saturday night shows that I caught live were O.K. but there again Randa didn´t make an appearance in either of them.

Re: 'Art' over substance

It's usual since the beginning of Etv.

the BEST (nice models, shows with Hans at the regie) and
the WORST (unsupportable effects and colors by others directors as Veni shows with Safo in last two months.)

Re: 'Art' over substance

Talking about Veni: now we know what we can expect from the upcoming saturday latenight show. Countless stupid light effects and the next level of pixel terror.

On E2 btw the cameramen becomes more and more lazy and prefers to smoke cigs or take a vodka: very few zooms meanwhile, most of the time just far-distance camera.
