Thus, her more than seven-year-long eurotic period as a model, came to an end (7 July 2007 - 23 November 2014).
Actually, she remained there as a "moderatorin/presenter" till ETV shut down its satellite broadcast (31 July 2016).


Remembering...
In her early eurotic days she stuck out like a sore thumb. ETV viewers couldn't help but notice that
Joanna had a beautiful face, but her appearance was slovenly and inconsistent with the place,

But ETV didn't take long to realize that a number of "barbies" or soft models (never gotten naked onscreen)
would be very useful, if not necessary, to them in order to get the most out of the Premium Rate (phone) Services,
specifically, but not exclusively, in the daytime, when they had to strictly comply with rules.
Their job: holding viewers/customers on the phone long enough to relieve them of as much money as they could,
providing erotic support/pleasure not even showing a square inch of bare skin.
And it was just there that Joanna carved out her place within the eurotic broadcast.
She extensively, but not exclusively [1], used the technique/expedient of "the dissimulated simulation",

It is hardly surprising that some ETV models were also members of the main forums.

As time went by, loosening her restraints, she "went off the rails"(so to speak) for a while,
especially in the one-model late night shows, maybe following the example of her

If in the days of Eurotic-TV her shape tended towards the kind of woman we can find in Titian's or,
if I may, Rubens' paintings, or in Fellini's movies as well, now she embodies the Botticellian ideal:
slender, long flowing chestnut brown haired with highlights (in place of black, her natural hair color)
with a long green spring dress, (talking about Botticelli) sitting outdoors at a wine bar,
enjoying a glass of white wine, strictly all alone, of course.
Who could ever imagine that underneath her placid air, posing as a classy lady,
forgetful of her glorious past times, it seems, there is an unstoppable (ten-year career)
successful eurotic model (and moderator), who used to warmly welcome phone callers,
introducing herself with "I like to fuck!" [3] and other such "niceties"?

Although she often travels abroad on vacation (?!), or at least that's what it seems
from the photos of various tourist locations on her IG profile, or more likely, she goes

It didn't take Joanna long to get reacquainted with the place, her fellow models and her former job
(induce viewers to spend a tidy sum of money (actually they were Premium Rate Services) in order to
get the chance to talk to her (mostly for the so called "erotic support") or to send her SMS, starting in this way
the transformation process from an occasional viewer into a kind of loyal ETV model-addicted, to put it plainly.

And, relying on a large base of customers, whose loyalty/fidelity has been successfully cultivated and gained over time,
and also for a number of other reasons, it was found that not only Eurotic-TV really worked, but it also made big money.
Buy what really bothered them was the fact that part of the proceeds was for the telephone companies, another part was
for the value-added number providers, and finally the remaining proceeds were for the company that provided the service (ETV).
And not to mention: expensive Sat Television licenses to provide broadcasting content over satellite, both Astra and Hot-Bird!
This at least until they turned Eurotic-TV into etv-Shows, streaming their shows over the Internet for subscribers,
various kind of members, allowing them to pick and choose as they pleased, and at the same time they produced
and directly sold the videos from their own shows, thus retaining the part of the proceeds that covered the whole
Premium Rate Services expenditure for themselves, leaving the satellite television as a support for their web activity basically.

Landing on the web, with paid access reserved for subscribers, removed the obstacle of the prohibition of adult content in FTA
daytime broadcasts, in order to protect underage viewers. But at the same time the reason for having soft models within ETV was failing.
The room left for them was limited to, almost exclusively, the so called Reserved Experience (and little else),
available upon request, and payment, of only one of the above-mentioned loyal etv model-addicted, even though other members
could watch and "enjoy" the show (no other "interference" was allowed, besides sending SMS, if I remember correctly).
Most of the still standing soft models, being by then outdated, left ETV. Joanna, for her part, remained, till the end, only as a moderator though.

Human touch
Janine was quite impressed that when someone got too closely to Joanna, she withdrew fearing that she might be beaten.
Janine blamed Aria's "bullying behaviour" towards Ju (no need to say it was just for fun) for her instinctive reaction to escape from danger,
very like a conditioned reflex. Anyway Joanna was aware of that and, laughing, she admitted: "Maybe I have some kind of problems".

This video covers the first period (July 2007 - late June or early July 2008) of Joanna in ETV, and is a collection of video sequences
selected from different sources: in the vast majority of cases the video files come from my personal recordings, but in a few cases
they come from videos posted on Liveshow by elmo, chrispocz/WhiteKnight, satya1002005, richard.marx, Tarl_Cabot,
or posted on the Italian ETV Forum by dardo2 or somewhere else on the Internet as well. I apologize if I have forgotten to mention somebody.
Also, some videos are from VHS tapes, and trying to correct their chromatic aberrations is generally fight a losing battle,
so I hope you'll go easy on me.

It begins and ends, not surprisingly thinking it over, with Joanna and Alexa (very often with Malena as well).
Alexa arrived in ETV as early as the first days of May 2006, [1] well before [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig], and soon enough
she was so popular that somebody even came out with "Alexa for President!", not to mention the many that called her "The Divine".
They met each other and became friends inside ETV, best friends I'd say, and their friendship might have helped Joanna to,
broadly speaking, get acquainted with ETV, refining her look and maybe the way she approached her viewers/callers.
Just think of how unsuitably she was, at the beginning, dressed for an erotic channel, showing off nun-like outfits.

Throughout the video you will see very often them exchanging tender, friend kisses, something quite unusual among Etv models.

It must also be said that the conversation between Joanna and Evah dates back to 29 November 2011, and much time has passed since then.
Last time I checked, I didn't find any "like" or "comment" by Alexa on Joanna's Instagram and Facebook profiles and vice versa.
Obviously, there are private communication channels other than public social networks, and it might actually be the way they still keep in touch "away from prying eyes",
so to speak, but probably Joanna, after ETV shut down, withdrew to her hometown to lead a secluded life smearing canvases at her own pace, and that's that!
So who knows if they are still friends, although I doubt it.
