Download videos

Is there another place, aside from rapidshare, where folks can download these videos?   I've spent literally hours searching Google for eUrotic TV videos and have come up empty handed.   I managed to find about four sites on the entire net with links to eUrotic TV videos, and they all ultimately lead to rapidshare.

I'm not saying that there's anything inherently wrong with rapidshare, but for those of us without a premium membership, waiting two or more hours between downloads is unbearable.   There are probably at least one hundred videos linked from this site to rapidshare that I want to download.   At the rate I'm going, taking into account that two or more new videos are added daily, I will never get them all.

There has to be a better way.

Has anyone (Elmo) here considered RARing up a bunch of videos into a large file and creating a torrent?   I believe a torrent would be a much more effective way of distributing these files.  What say you?

It might also be possible to upload them to some public ftp server somewhere.   What about something like a Hotline server?

The wait times on rapidshare are just too much.   I can't believe that everyone here has and maintains a premium account with rapidshare.   So someone here must share my agony in this regard.

Ah...  I use Linux and an app call aMule.   It's open source, free, and no pop up ads.

Please, buy a RS premium account, it's not expensive, with telia sonnera I download at 650 kbs.

Well, I have my already downloaded Eurotic files in an open folder, but I'm not that often on the mule. Why? Simply because I usually don't need to - and the mule disturbs everything you do with ads popping up on a regular basis. So it's not exactly my kind of fun to do something else on my rig, just to get that particular application minimzed every so often to watch another useless sex advert.

We have to standardize here.   If we all keep all of our eUrotic videos in our shared folder, and we all connect to the same network (or create a network just for folks sharing eUrotic videos) we can help each other out.

Just a little elaboration on the idea of creating an exclusive eUrotic video network on eMule.   If we all connect to the same network for eUrotic videos, we all keep our eUrotic video collection in our shared folder, and we keep the number of users on our exclusive eUrotic video network relatively small (i.e. only people sharing eUrotic videos and such) we should be able to boost transfer speeds and effectively eliminate the problem you cite.

All it would take is a little collaboration and a few sealed lips, and we'd be in eUrotic video nirvana.

@pee-ness: with a torrent, you're entering the 56k world if everything's going swell and a lot of people have uploaded the one file you want to download. If you're not among the lucky ones or if you're demanding a file, that only one particular user has for download, you're probably wait for months on end. It's that way with one file I'm trying to download from emule. After 6 weeks or so I have about 90 percent of that 250 MB baby and still I'm waiting for the one user, who has the remaining ten percent - sometimes he even logs on, and I'm #3400 on the waiting list.

No, I'm happy with my rapidshare account. That way, I can at least get to most of the files I really want without any waiting or some 5k horror show.

making some torrents would surely help everyone. rapidshare is a pain in the ass for me. I have dynamic ip but if I don't want to wait I have to plug off my modem and then re-plug in it. and by the way we can upload large files instead of the 100mb limit.

someone can make a torrent at least for old clips or only once every month to RARing clips all-in-one. I think it would be better even for videomakers.

Thanks for the replies.   I will give emule a shot.   I figure even 56k like downloads are still faster than waiting 300 minutes (3 hours and 20 minutes) between rapidshare downloads.

Pulling the modem plug doesn't work for me.   My ISP assigns sticky dynamic IPs.   I could pull the plug on my cable modem for a month and still get the same IP address when I plugged it back in.   My ISP does allow me three distinct IP addresses however.   So theoretically, if I had three computers, with three distinct MAC addresses, I would be assigned three unique IP addresses and would be able to download three files from rapidshare simultaneously.

I suppose, considering I use Linux exclusively, I could put three NICs in my machine and bind a browser to each respective NIC.   That should, theoretically, enable me to download three files simultaneously from the same machine.   But buying all of those extra network cards and a switch would cost many times more than a rapidshare account.

Oh well.

[Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig]. They have a eurotic thread in the sexy videos section. But as far as I understand it, they're a paysite for new users nowadays and the videos posted there are probably ripped from here.

You really should give rapidshare a chance. It's still the best option.

Yeah, a pity about the new rapidshare rules :-( Lots of ETV clips and be found on emule as well - but download is quite slow.

Personally I don't like torrents one bit, to put it politely. They're slow like in the old 56k days and many of them still are out to sell you a payed membership. Rapidshare on the other hand is well worth it's fee. If you upload some popular files, you even get rewarded with points, you can cash in to extend your membership.

Only problem is, that they're implementing a new rule. Once you're hosting above 20 GB, files that haven't been downloaded for 90 days are automatically deleted. It remains to be seen if this isn't a killing blow to an otherwise great system.

If you want something for nothing then you must be prepared to wait.

A rapidshare premium acc is not expensive and there are tons of vids available at other sites so it's well worth the small outlay.
