Re: Off-Topic Discussion

Yesterday morning I think most peoples hearts sank when they switched on the news only to be informed that a man had hijacked Egyptair flight MS181. My first thoughts were fuck no, not another 911 such is the paranoid times that we now live in. As the news unfolded further when it emerged that he had released more or less the majority onboard other than a handful of crew members it then soon became clear that this wasn't an act of terrorism as that's the last thing any of them would have done had this been the case.

Eventually everybody was free with the hijacker giving himself up, it turned out he was bluffing, he had infact nothing explosive or dangerous that was ever going to cause loss of life so on this story thank fuck it was just a deluded and mentally unstable idiot probably looking for a bit of attention.

We are only a few months away from the European Championships in France but instead of everybody sitting back and going great we've got a summer of football to look forward to like the last time France hosted the 1998 World Cup we are instead all hoping and praying that nothing bad happens, not since 2001 have we had to be constantly looking over our shoulder. Lets hope that all evil terrorist organisations can be defeated with as little blood shed that is possible as the current situation has left us all fearing to travel and that's no way for a free world to be operating.

Re: Off-Topic Discussion

Hey dazaman have you seen the mess over on the other forum which we both used to post on, no wonder I closed my account down over there, this member was actually voted capper of the year on that forum, more like crapper of the year, no wonder I closed my account down over there Lol Big Grin

[Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig]

This forum may not have the same volume of traffic that that other one does but thank fuck all the uploads here are of quality standard compared to the junk standard posted over there Smile

Oh and before anybody is wondering, yes I did PM each and everyone of the mods over there when my account was active only to be told to mind my own business and that they didn't have a problem with oversized nasty cap flooding. May this forum go from strength to strength whilst we laugh at the self righteous amateurs over there...........Big Grin

Re: Off-Topic Discussion

Meanwhile here in the UK as if the nanny state mentality couldn't get any worse a bill got passed through today in the house of commons dubbed the snoopers charter...Thumb down The police will now have the power to spy on your web browsing history and hack into your mobile phone without you even knowing about it.

Full story - [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig]

From my point of view all I can say is fuck you David Cameron and fuck the Conservative Party. We'll get our independence up here in Scotland and we'll have the last laugh, also to think that some people are even considering leaving the European Union is madness, Europe is our last line of defence and without it this nanny state will get even worse. I will be voting Yes to stay in Europe and I will also be voting Yes yet again when we get our 2nd Independence Referendum Thumb up

The Government can use any lines they want to justify this latest bill, if you want my honest answer this will do nothing of the kind Angry

Saddam Hussain got in to power through CIA help. Pick a western country and then back these "backward" countries and get a puppet leader. Saddam was until he went independent. Who is to blame for such people?

Our Governments create and then they use their own power, we say WTF. Lets kill the fuckers!

I agree with you 100% on the Saudi's, the UK and the rest of the Western Governments should not be trading with a country that funds terrorism, the UK Government historically used to be Allies with Iraq and supplied weapons and tanks to Saddam Hussain when he was involved with a war against Iran. A lot of people forget this damning fact before we turned on them after their invasion of Kuwait in 1991 which started off the Gulf War.

We as a Western nation ought to put human rights top of the agenda over financial gain. I've always held this statement in the highest of regards.

In my opinion they are doing too much because they are doing the wrong.
The IS is not an insulated group, it's part of the populace. And with the collateral damages of drones and bombs they rather increase the number of supporters instead of weakening them.
The only way would be to hit their financial sources.
And not by eliminating the 500Euro bill and limiting cash transfers which is only meant to allow banks to establish negative interests on private money on account.
To dry out that swamp they had to establish a total embargo against Saudi Arabia who are the major financiers.
But without the Saudi's oil the oil price will drastically increase which would hit our economy and honeycomb the U.S. strategy to hit Russia, so instead they sell tanks and fighter planes to the Saudis.
