Sorry glamrocker I apologise to you and the whole forum but I had my reasons for my last outburst, every single post this guy has made has been a direct attack on myself instead of actually logging in to debate the shows which is why my choice of words were none too pleasant. This as you all know is not my normal response but every now and again you will encounter such individuals and asking them politely to stop doing what they are doing just isn't always possible Sad

If you actually bothered to read all my posts you'll know that my mother sadly passed away in 2004 after a long battle with cancer. Thanks for asking!

For anybody that is not familiar with this guy, he's my stalker. He has yet to make a single contribution to this forum but seems to get a massive erection for my posts. He logs into this forum on a daily basis just to read my posts. Everything you have stated is a vicious lie and as such I fully expect all on this forum to ignore anything you post and treat you with the contempt you deserve. For your information, I've never insulted Kenny nor have I have asked anybody to PM you on my behalf. If you however want an insult then here's one for you. You're a prick, a loser, a gobshite and a troll Big Grin

lol. i'll leave you alone for now cupcake but do us a favour, please don't get your cronies to pm me informing me that you're upset anymore. i don't think i could live with the guilt.
oh, and are the foul insults really necessary? do you kiss your mum with that mouth?

Other than that, feel free to carry on posting your comments about me, I'm flattered that I have such an influence on you Smile

The only things you complained about Kenny to my knowledge was with regards to the exclusive shows not being to your liking but I never once seen you post any comments with regards as to how and why it was probably going to have a detrimental effect on the main show. Lastly please do not flatter yourself into thinking that you somehow have any influence on me. I'm merely debating my point Smile

Reminding all members that the English Premiership kicks off this weekend. To date apart from myself, quiquems is the only other participant. I need more than just 2 members in order for this Thread to resemble some sort of competition. Its a bit of fun at the end of the day and all members are welcome to enter Smile

Re: Off-Topic Discussion

There seems to be something of an uproar here in the UK within a very small minority after Channel 4's latest daring dating show entitled Naked Attraction. Full frontal nudity throughout. Apparently ofcom has had 60 complaints about the show already from these outraged puritanical twats. The same mob that have been winging about the babe channels for years Tongue

This show comes fresh off the back of the previous one off show called life stripped bare which just like this one also received its fair amount of complaints. As ever all I say to those people is let and let live, if you are that outraged with the show as to go into detail as to how many vagina and penis close ups the first episode showed then you obviously can't be that offended because an offended person wouldn't even watch the show in the first place knowing exactly what it's intention was from the off.

I love the show having already watched the first episode. Its on Channel 4 at 10PM every Monday night or you can see it on catch up Big GrinThumb up [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig]

PS - Channel 4 have promised us more vagina next week Big Grin (Fuck Ofcom) Thumb up

Re: Off-Topic Discussion

Thank you for your response Dackel0401, some really good points being raised there, and another reason for us not leaving is the fact that we have peace in Europe. Perhaps if such a union was in place in the 1920's then the rise of the Nazis and Hitler would never have occurred as the union allows each country to keep checks on each other in order to prevent such a catastrophe ever happening again.

Reasons for leaving is things such as the large influx of Polish immigrants into the UK thus depriving those born in the country a fair and proper chance at employment in favour of cheap labour. Don't get me wrong the Polish people are a lovely bunch as I come in contact with them at my work on a daily basis and I've even been teaching them some Scottish phrases such as "Thanks dear that was smashing" into their vocabulary Big Grin

Not to mention too that the UK Government is sending out benefit money to their family's at home in Poland which I think is wrong, just because your parents happen to work in Scotland shouldn't mean that their offspring back home are entitled to UK funds. Just my opinion.

However leaving the Union could have a bad knock on effect for a lot of freedoms which we currently have due to being part of Europe such as David Cameron has made in well known that he wants to wage war on porn but as it stands his government doesn't the powers to do so, leaving Europe would hand over ultimate control to the Conservative Party. Would I still be able to access this forum for example or would Mr Cameron and his cronies deny me access I wonder.

The last argument could be why fix it if it ain't broken, staying in the Union will still maintain a close bond with our European cousins and its a good relationship and it would seem pointless in many ways just to end it.

With regards to my Germany trip, glad that I don't have to worry about my passport being an issue if we do leave the EU. As for the driving, not something I have to worry about as I'll be on a coach for the 2 weeks I'm away. As far as my Geman goes I only need to know this phrase. "Ein Bier bitte danke" Big Grin

I am still undecided, some days I'm voting to stay in and other days I'm set to vote to leave. Anybody here have any thoughts on the subject....
Well,
for travelling things will not change much. Except of goods tranfer also to Norway and Switzerland there's no noticable difference when travelling, even less for you as you can't leave UK on road.
So you have the PITA with Airport- or Eurotunnel security checks and changing to foreign currencies anyway, no matter if EU or not.
For the British economy I can't judge, It also depends if the EU plays it hard.
On the other hand you don't have the Euro, you only slowly adopt the metric system, you drive on the wrong side of the road, so the benefits of EU for you are limited.
But what may happen then is Scotland becoming an EU member Tongue

Re: Off-Topic Discussion

That's a very complex matter and my personal opinion is as follows: It would be a very bad idea for the UK to leave the EU. Things have changed a lot in the last years and whether we like it or not we have and live in a global economy today. Leaving the EU would have a serious impact on the United Kingdom - from the first day on. Economically your country would be almost entirely on it's own then and the "cold" of being "alone" would be noticeable for everybody very quickly. Not exactly locked out, but somehow isolated and having access to the most important markets (they are all within the EU) would get a lot more difficult.

I'm not 100% sure about the numbers 2016, but the United Kingdom benefits greatly from being a part of the EU. Close to 50% (!!!) of the UK-exports go to EU-countries. An impressive number and being a member of the EU means no customs, no tariffs, no overboarding bureaucracy or other difficulties. Your country would lose the enormous advantage of being a part of the worlds most powerful free trade area with very little restrictions. I'd say don't leave the EU, it's cold out there and it would hurt Britains economy very, very badly...

... and don't worry about your visit in Germany ;-)

The referendum is in june, you are visiting Germany in July. Even if the UK decides to leave the EU, the european community is not that quick on the trigger. It's not a club where you can say I'm out and leave on the same day. At the earliest the UK can leave the EU December 2017 - means your holidays are perfectly safe but here are three important things you have to keep in mind when you are in Germany:

1. In public always have your ID-card with you
2. Driving on the right side on the road (That's at least one thing the germans got right additional to building excellent cars
3. The language there is german, but that doesn't necessarily mean that even with a profound knowledge of the german language you'll be able to understand and communicate with them. German is my native language, but that doesn't help you much when you end up in the land of Hessen and secondly never, ever say something bad about their cidre Big Grin
