How to play videos

can you give a link to the mp-4 download? i want to try if it works on my computer.

im using CCCP.

My media player doesn't play the MP-4 download I have done. I have installed from the free codec site a codec (ffdshow-rev2639_2009). Which is the codec I need for Windows Media Player in vista home premium. And it doesn't work with 13codecx.

I can't download all available codecs.

personaly i wouldnt recomend K-Lite as i got adware when i last installed it.

u could do worse than try these 1s cccp codec pack, a small well optomised pack of the most popular and some obscure codecs, or lazymans codec pack, a good all round set of codecs, and finaly if you want suround sound the the ac3 filter codec is good.

also be aware that you should realy only have 1 pack installed at a time, sometimes even though you set certain apps up to use certain extensions you can get conflics as the app my try to use 2 codecs for the same vid, causing at the least image corruption, and at worst a bsod.

btw, ac3 works alongside both v-well as neather contain its filters.
