Coppa Italia today is made in order to favour the top 8 Serie A team, that begin to play just from 8th final; overall in the competition the rule basically says the strongest team play at home the knock-out game, semi finals only require a return match. All that in order to please (this time) Rai TV, that broadcasts the event. If mathematic is not an opinion, a top 8 team have to play just 5 (five) games in order to win Coppa Italia. If I was Mrs UEFA, I wouldn't accept any team in Euro competition from Coppa Italia... |
