Well Group D is some group, I suspect it's going to go right to the wire. I never in my wildest dreams expected Scotland to be right in the mix. If we beat Georgia in our next fixture then that sets up 2 very exiting games at Hampden Park, Glasgow

Well a great point that has just been achieved for Scotland in Dublin
![]() Full time it finished - Republic Of Ireland 1 Scotand 1 Elsewhere in the group it finished - Poland 4 Georgia 0 Gibraltar play Germany in 40 minutes so you'd expect the Germans to gain full points from that fixture. Still a long way to go yet but Scotland are definitely in the race for qualification to next years European Championships in France which is a tournament if we get there that I will try and get tickets for, if not I think I'll go across anyway nonetheless

I'm just away to watch Ireland v Scotland, a massive game for both sides. Defeat for Ireland will leave there qualification dream in tatters, victory for us and we'll be within touching distance of the European Championships.
Kick off is at 5PM and all the build up aswell as the full game is on SKY Sports 1 as we speak
