Re: Babestation - General Chat & Discussion

To be honest I am of the opinion as to not to over analysis the shows too much, where would we start for example as the name Babestation could also be viewed by some of a puritanical nature to be offensive and misleading. I also don't really have an issue with any of the babes dressing up as naughty schoolgirls or college girls as they are now referred as anybody with commonsense would really view this in the correct manner, the aspect that this sort of image could play into the hands of the paedophiles didn't even enter my head.

Its a bit like somebody dressing up as a naughty nurse or a policewomen, its just role play simple as that, it doesn't and it shouldn't mean anything other than a bit of harmless fun between consenting adults hence the reason the channel is labelled as 18+ as grown ups should really be able to tell the difference and understand between fact and fiction. I am not denying for one minute that we live in a very evil world and that such crimes are so heinous that one might view the dressing up of the girls as naughty school/college girls as something of an invitation to a crime.

The truth of the matter is that what is shown on the telly or the internet has no actual bearing or relevance to real criminal activities which are carried out. If you are of a sick and twisted disposition then you will carry out any crime of your choosing regardless, if only ofcom actually realised this. I hope my post makes sense. Thanks for your time Smile

Re: Babestation - General Chat & Discussion

Saoirse, Please will you grow up and realise that some older men, not all, but a fair proportion are attracted to younger girls. Why do you think the babe channels followed that route with the girls, dressing in tartan skirts and pigtails, And before the watchdogs took a hold, The girls were referred to as ''schoolgirls'', and not as they are now ''College girls''.
Why was Britney Spears the hottest pop protege, when her record company decided that a good look would be for her to do what was the sexiest schoolgirl look of that particular decade.
You can deny all you want. But the one and only reason why Caty uses a voice that isn't anything like her natural voice, is for the exact same reason as the two examples above, and that is, young girls to some men are sexually attractive.

the only reason i know about the other forum is because you keep making reference to it. and i don't have a problem with RESPONSIBLE ADULT other than i think he's rude and carry's a dislike of women.

Irrespective of your differences saoirse with Aniseedballs I think it is very unfair of you to be making any reference to that other forum. With regards as to how any of the women come across on the mic to be honest I never really pay much notice as the volume on the telly is usually turned down at a very low level. Babestation is hardly a channel whereas you'd blast it at max volume out of all the speakers Blush

With regards to last nights show I was less than impressed. It had a real sense of just going through the motions, like the rest of the channels I'm getting rather bored of what looks to me like ofcom approved positions, Babestation no longer having a Dutch Licence has been a real blow to me, I really don't know the politics involved in that one, I could only speculate that financially an Ofcom one was probably a cheaper option Sad

It is not her natural voice, she is speaking in a way that would sound if she was much younger. The models have had instruction not to describe themselves as schoolgirls, then why is Caty allowed to sound as if she is a whimpering child. She does it because that is what turn some men on. And maybe that is the thing that is hurtful and disrespectful and not my honest comments.

so you're saying she put's that voice on to attract peado's and not because she thinks it's sexy? and you don't think this is rude or hurtful.

sounds like you're the one with issues fella. no wonder the other forum booted your ass.

To be honest I think most forum members are fully aware of ofcom and the rules and are fully aware not to expect anything that resembles anything that comes close to hardcore when it comes to the TV shows. As I've previously said my main interests tend to be in the web only shows but as always I'm objective when it comes to the SKY channels.

My frustrations with Caty Cole is because I know that she is capable of so much better than the current junk performances that she is peddling out hence the reason I have stated numerous times before that I feel that her heart is no longer in the industry and I stand by my comments. If I remember rightly Caty was apparently only doing the babe shows until such point when she graduated from university, well it must be one hell of a long course, perhaps she is is training to be a brain scientist or something (fucking doubt it...Big Grin) as its now 6 years since she made that announcement.

Out of all the babe channels Babestation is still the best in my opinion, long gone are the days when the likes of Studio66 used to challenge them to be top dog. I just thought I'd put my 2 cents back into this Thread for what it's worth Big Grin

^ This. Lets keep it this way too!

Please keep personal/abusive attacks towards the models off the public forums. As stated from Dackel0401 and elfury, if you wish to post something about a model in a negative way, then do so in a constructive way. Posts like the one aimed at Caty Cole, will only be deleted, and continuing to post in this manner will only get warnings handed to you.

I'm going to read through this thread, and any abusive posts I find what are in no way constructive, will be removed. So if any of you notice that your post count has gone down, well, you know why!

So lets keep this a friendly and respectful place.

Thank you.

Re: Babestation - General Chat & Discussion

Thank you elfury for your statements!

I fully agree with you that personal attacks are out of the line, but sadly it goes way beyond that by now. Everybody's entitled to have his own opinion and here's mine: Per se there's nothing wrong with criticism if it's expressed in the right way and the right words. Yes, criticism can be constructive and improve things, but wrongly used it can also be destructive & hurtful for people. Be careful with criticism, be respectful and most important: Be fair! If criticism is unavoidable (sometimes even necessary), then always "hide" it between two layers of praise. It doesn't give you good results with all the people out there, but it will work with most of them better than the other alternatives.

In the last hour I've read (very carefully and some parts even twice) more than 50 posts of a member here and the last 8 pages in "General chat & discussion"-thread of Babestation and Studio 66. Both threads are full of personal attacks, offensive language and insults against the girls. What I had to read has nothing to do with criticism anymore, it's just abusive and very hostile towards the girls. To describe someones voice as "fucking nauseating infantile" is insulting and nothing less. To "mask" this is a personal view and constructive criticism, not hurtful to anyone is just ridiculous. Girls described "as dull as dishwater", as "deadwood" and there are dozens of comments like that to read in these two threads.

Of course if you say something against such things, then always the usual knockout-argument follows: "Ah, just another Fanboy where everything regarding a girl just have to be massive, gushing praise! That's simply bullshit and everybody can express his opinion and critiscm, but personal attacks & insults from a person hiding behind a keyboard are highly unfair and I'm sure it's something a gentleman wouldn't and shouldn't do. If you don't like a girl, ok! Fair enough, nobody's going to have a problem with it. Here's a quote from my favourite girl: "Opinions are allowed, insults are not". Imho it is a clever guideline. Criticism is ok too, but please let us stop all these attacks on a personal level. That can't be right and it's clearly a bad development in my opinion...

I've known this place for years now and imho it shouldn't be brought to the same level as the other forum (which has already a very bad reputation). I have to say that I'm at a point where I don't even feel as a part of this forum anymore. The forum has changed too much and I feel very 2nd, maybe even close to 3rd class & quite redundant here, but I would be really happy to see an end of this sad development mentioned above.

Come on guys, it's Christmas time, let's do something nice and here's a wish:

[Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig]

That's all! Simple & easy! Let's stop all the bashing, the attacks, the insults - that's not what this forum should be known for.
Let us be gentleman, let us show we can do better than what here's to read on 18-20 pages...

No more personal attacks, no more insults against the girls! It's enough now...

Thank you for your time!

Re: Babestation - General Chat & Discussion

Utter pish, I said don't launch personal attacks and what you said about Caty's voice is not in any way constructive.

Not saying you aren't entitled to your opinion at all, but personal attacks are out of line anywhere. Someone referred to one of the S66 Golden Girls as an old scrubber in another thread, there is no need for these sorts of posts. This forum tends to be fairly friendly and respectful, unlike the other liveshow forum which gets a bit heated at times, which is why I'm only a lurker there.

Re: Babestation - General Chat & Discussion

So it seems like Elfury wants me to lavish praise on the girls. But why should I? I'm here to pass my honest judgement on their offerings. And because I don't think those skills to be very good, then why should I say they are. Other people may think the models can't put a foot wrong, I'm not that way of thinking. If anyone wants to read mindless praise, then go to the other well known forum.

This is a forum where everything is up for judgement. And that is including what I write. But lets not get all uppity about it, It's only a personal view. What i have said isn't hurtful to anyone. Far from it, it should be seen as constructive criticism by the girls. Who by the way should be able to handle it. I don't believe these particular girls are your typical burst into tears shrinking violets.

I've kept my peace on this for long enough, can we all stop with the personal attacks on the girls please? You don't like a particular girl, fine. Don't call or watch her. We don't know what they are being told backstage in terms of what they can and cannot do, and we DO know that Ofcom are far more restrictive now than they have been in the past.

Re: Babestation - General Chat & Discussion

It keeps being said on the forums that Babestation is better than the others. But even babestation have more of their fair share of yesteryear girls. And to be honest i think they are just as bad as anything else being served up. I have had enough of models who have been around for ever. And that is them all on Babestation.

Lori Buckby, Danni Harwood and Madison Rose, cannot wait to get naked, But it's the exact same way every time. No tease, no danger. Just naked with arses up in the air. But being very professional at not showing anything they shouldn't. As I said ''no danger''. Then we have Ashley Emma, Cali Garcia, and Caty Cole, Three very boring girls indeed what else can I say?

I could go on naming the rest of this stations ''talent'' but maybe it would be better left unsaid. But i will finish off with a positive, One girl I can watch, and that is Sophie Hart. Her shows are not brilliant, but at least she may, unlike the others mentioned, show a little of what she shouldn't now and again.
