The times they are a changing

Perhaps I should have asked "Where were you when the lights went out ?" but I instead will stick to the prepared text.

It’s been a while since I’ve given you a poem or a song dedicated to our favourite channel.
The inspiration for this came from the influx of new models. The return of some old faces and the sad but always inevitable departure of some established favourites. And the demise of Eplus.

The text is based on a poem first published in 1924 by the author of the Winnie-the-Pooh books, A A Milne. In case you are not familiar with the original then here is the first verse : -

They're changing guard at Buckingham Palace -
Christopher Robin went down with Alice.
Alice is marrying one of the guard.
"A soldier's life is terrible hard,"
Says Alice.

And now the 2007 version. (true to the original, the first 2 lines of each verse were identical)

They're changing the staff at ETV palace
Girls come back but where is Alice
They also leave. We know not why
It's a shame. They were not shy.
Says Alice

It takes several girls to make a good show
