ETV employee A: Hey, I will make some updates on our website. Any news that I should add? ETV employee B: Hmm......we maybe plan a suscription on HD+, maybe you can already design a text. But don't set it live!! ETV empoyee A: OK. I will do it. .....and he set it live. |

Some time ago, I do not remember when it was precisely though, they made a poll on their web page whether people are a) interested in HD generally b) peoples equipment provides already for HD and/or c) whether people would be willing to upgrade their equipment once ETV offers HD. |

You didnt read the announcements from etv, or the wall  and look what they do in reallity. It looks like that to say not the truth or only part of the truth is part of the company policy. So no other is wondering that they do this and what the customer thinks about the truth or not interested the etv boss not a bit.

And even without Smart Card and CI+ module the HD+ Programs appear in the program list if you have an HD+ capable receiver and include encrypted progams in the scan, but with my HD+ capable receivers and TV there's no ETV in HD. HD plus (HD+) is a german satellite PPV that provide an own decoder (i think) where you can find ETV too.

Not comparable to a HD satellite broadcast (see e.g. the videos of Brugdon, Genso, Slava) but much better than the Standard Definition satellite broadcast.
