A little late because I stayed on vacation.
I always used the RS. But now after these strange changes begin to use the MU

I have solved my problem with Megaupload.
I realized that the problem (not the fake problem MU usually points out) of the aborted upload at 99% of the process was due to the fact that I uploaded these files from an external device.

So, for the future, I choose MU.

and I am still trying to work out just what is going on at RS ......

I presume the excess files will be removed after 60 days no use, and why would uploaders automatically want to download so much ? The allocated web space to DL traffic ratio is completely screwed. They will change this I am sure. In the mean time I will also be trying out other possibilities. I shall continue to use MU as it has always been good for me in both directions. It appears from a post today that this service is not available to all users ?

The arguments for the premium accounts at the One-Klick-Hosters is the not-deleting of inactive files.
The video-links should be active too when the video wasn't downloaded in thast last month (usual limit of the OKH is between two and three month). This makes the forum more attractive for new members who won't disappear too often while searching for vids in older threads. The problem is of course that the premium accounts cost money and so is just a OKH with premium account and a reward system a good choice because after some month and some activity the account can be paid via the reward system.
Also is the account management, the upload or the limit of the file size important for the OKH. These were in the past the reasons for rapidshare.
Often used in this forum is [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig], too.

OKH like mediafire and hypershare are because of the deleting of inactive files no choice for me.
And with other OKH I have no experience.
So I'll keep my RS-account for at least some month and will spend some money for an upgrade of my MU-account.
During the next month I'll have an eye on the developent of the OKH in the movie/warez and the xxx scene and maybe I'll change the hoster in some month again.

In the next month I'll upload files
with less than 100 MB on MU
with 100-200 MB on MU or RS and
larger than 200 MB on MU of course.

The hoster will always be a hoster that offers the download for non members, too.
At the moment are just the uploaders forced to pay some money for the videos and because of this all downloaders should accept the choice of the uploader. The upload takes anyway more time than the download.

I stay at Rapidshare until I spend all my Rapids (3 months), then I will see.

I will only use Megaupload from now on. It's a reliable service where your files won't get deleted if you are a premium member.
