'Rules' or just ruses

To recap.

A few weeks ago, it was reported that due to a 'German Telecom Law' no SMS could exceed 1,99. ETV responded by upping the cost of a VIP to nearly 10 euro (*5) whereas previously it was nealy 9 (3 * 2,99) and the ordinary SMS to nearly 4 (was 3)

Now, if my eyes do not deceive me, the price of the VIP has gone back to nearly 9 and the ratio is 3 * 2,99. And orindary SMSs are back to 2 euro.

So ETV, isn't this some strange u-turn on your part. If it was illegal to do this how is it now suddenly ok ?

Or was it simply a ruse to push through an increase in the price which did not work. And if it did not work there is an even bigger risk in destroying the faith from your callers.
