There are a number of reasons why it seems to become stale 1, for some reason few join in and could be that someone or a group don't like or trust the Mods (just a possible for no new blood) 2, Most, me included are lacking time on the forum as real life comes first!! So need time away and the forum can be quite time consuming. 3, Older members joined just to talk about live shows and all other topics (including UK section) could be seen as off topic and so not willing to join in!!! 4, Some will view that all discussion about any of the channels as now become repetitive and so again, why keep saying the same thing. 5, People used to enjoy the shows but now think they have become stale and predictable (usually those who watched shows most of the years they have been running) and so live their lives away from forums or even bothering checking the shows on TV. 6, The members favourite as left and so WTF is the point of being around. To a point I think there's a bit of everyone covered in these reasons. On a friday night the forum is normally quietest for members being online as it's drinking session and winding down time. Regarding the channels other than new members creating new request threads for content. There is little reason for new threads. Regarding off topic threads then, this is more about finding a topic that others may find of interest. It's not always that simple if most know the topic and are interested but, have little or no interest in joining in. I post what I enjoy and rather than looking at it as a topic where I hope others will like, I view as if they like then it's up to them if they want to join in. Once you say you're thinking of topics to post then, it becomes work. A hobby is not a job and unlike other sites I know, I treat it as an hobby but does need work some times  My thoughts are that if people want to join in then that's great  and if not  then that's their choice. But at the end the site is still here if they change their minds

HI Guys!!..I have been let out!!! That was a bit too close for comfort!!!
 Thank you ALL so much for your great messages of support and wishes!! I feel good now, but tired!!I...I see Andrew kept you up to date!!,,He also brought me all your welcome messages, all written down!! must have taken him Ages!!... Hello, Andrew here, Alan is good, and getting stronger!!
The Doctors at the Hospital, have found the problem and put it right, Dads blood was too thick and not circulating correctly that was making him ill, they have thinned his blood now and it is now flowing as it should!! I have just left the hospital and they said they should release him over the weekend sometime!! He thanks you all for your concern and the messages of goodwill you all sent him!! Peace will soon again be shattered!!!! thank you Friends, for what you have taken the time to do,it made it easier for us here!!! Andrew |

6 years ago my father too had a heart attack and now he' s doing well
