Well what beat us in the end Rallkin123 was the fucking referee, no way was there 4 minutes injury time and also England were awarded a free kick right into our danger end in which they subsequently scored from when the foul should have went the other way. If it hadn't been for the fact I had to work early today I would have been down at the pub with the rest of the lads yesterday watching the game. I'd love to know how many pint glass's were smashed at the point when England scored their equaliser. We really could have done with those 3 points as it would have put us right back into the mix for qualification. We can still do it but its going to be very difficult now. What piss's me off most about Scotland is that we only seem to turn on the big performances for the big games. Its the bread and butter games when we are expected to win and don't which lets us down time and time again
![]() PS - With this being an International forum I would be very interested in knowing what my fellow members take is on their own nation or football team. Results being posted are always welcome but lets see some more opinions/match reviews/analysis apart from just a rare few of us, being posted too please ![]() An Italian view point would be very interesting..........cough cough.. ![]() |

Scottishbloke, your team did you proud and I thought they outplayed England at times. If only you could've held on to the end for what would've been a historic victory against the Auld Enemy. I wish they had won, they deserved to

The only show in town today just happened to be the battle of Britain, the 2 Auld enemy's fought it out and it ended in a draw. England took the lead with just 20 minutes remaining when Chamberlain fired in a shot from close range my heart literally sunk. It looked like curtains for my nation. Then in the 87th minute Griffiths scored a spectacular free kick to equalise, then in the 90th minute Hampden park went into absolute bedlam as he scored again to put us into the lead and it looked like the unthinkable had just happened. It was going to be our first win over England in Scotland since 1985 and 1999 when we defeated them at the old Wembley Stadium but not to be unfortunately as Kane struck in the 3rd minute of injury time
![]() [hidden image - please register] Not to be but I think my neighbours knew exactly all about it as my roar on both goals Scotland scored must have been heard by anybody within a 5 mile radius ![]() Final Score From Hampden: Scotland 2 England 2 |

No not through gritted teeth, my friend. I actually hope you stuff England and you qualify. My Welsh mum and the Irish side of the family would disown me if I supported England and I would never do that.
![]() Yes I agree with you about the two sets of fans. Lets hope common sense prevails and the match passes off with out any nasty incidents. ![]() ![]() |

Thank you Ralkin123, I bet you must have said that through gritted teeth assuming you are English ofcourse
![]() I think especially in light of recent terrorist activities that has taken place within the UK that both sets of supporters need to show an example and promote the togetherness even further. We need to show an example to the world watching that we keep the rivalry friendly and I urge those fans looking to go there simply just to cause trouble to think twice. Aswell as holding my breathe with regards as to how Scotland fares, I am also holding my breath as to the behaviour of the 2 sets of fans. |

The count down to kick off has begun. Scotland v England is almost here. First and foremost irrespective of the result I hope that no fighting takes place before or after the match. Tensions will be rife. As a Scotsman beating England is the ultimate scalp and also its a must win game for us if we are to stand any hope of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup

Rallkin123 wrote:Aberdeen were so unlucky against Celtic in the Scottish Cup Final and should have won it. I feel so sorry for them as overall they were the better team, especially in the 1st half as they dominated play and had the better chances of scoring. Well done to Celtic, but they got themselves out of jail and in my view were very lucky to win. I thought Aberdeen really put up a good fight on Saturday and it truly was a real sickner for them to lose the game in the way they did. Celtic have got a habit of scoring late goals when it comes to the Scottish Cup. I know better than more people after they snatched victory away from the jaws of defeat when they came back being 1-0 behind to beat my Dundee United team 2-1 in 1985, 1988. With regards to my Dundee United team. I am still very very down about what happened to us yesterday. Us supporters deserved better than the dog shit which the players served up for us but I think it was just a game too far for them. The players on the pitch were simply exhausted. We had already played 5 games to get to this stage. We should have been given a penalty in the 1st leg, instead Simon Murray gets a red card for apparently diving ![]() Over the border and into England, another dramatic Play Off match came to its conclusion. Well done to Huddersfield Town who will play next season in the English Premier League after beating Reading 4-3 on penalties after normal time and extra time still nothing could separate the 2 teams. Its a cruel way to decide who gets promoted but it has to be brought to a conclusion somehow. [hidden image - please register] |
