Oops, I did it again

They say that lightning does not strike twice but in the weather in the Molvanian capital over this past weekend it would have just been my luck to get a new hair style.

But while I waited again in vain for that half-promised meeting with the man from the inside, once more I was fortunate make the acquantance with someone probably much more attractive. The spare seat at dinner was now reserved and it should have been quite a party. But others who had promised only some days before did not make it for a variety of reasons. Yet still it was a pleasant evening.

But I wish to thank her for the company. Her challenge to me was to write something about her without revealing her identity. I trust I now suceed and I trust you may also enjoy the verse that follows :-

At a cafe in the sky
A pretty girl caught my eye
And while I confess to be quite shy
Here was a chance that could not pass by

She knew I saw her on the screen
We had not spoke since money is lean
But soon a promise when next she was seen
A voice to recall the face now become clean

So I recall the glasses she once wore
A different beauty to adore
In her moves across that floor
And a sight that was never a chore

And while I cannot write her name
In this verse I will play this game
To thank her for the evening - at least she came
Whilst others made excuses and little shame

So even if her name you should indeed guess
Kindly give respect not to cause my cousin duress
And appreciate her when next should she undress
Even with an unfulfilled fetish which I did confess
