Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

Fuck the Champions League Lol Big Grin I think you will all agree with me when I say that the only true game that really mattered last night was in Scotland. My Dundee United side won 2-1 away to Greenock Morton in the 1st Leg of the Premiership play-off quarter-final. I will be attendance at Tannadice this Friday to hopefully see us secure this tie which would then advance us to the Semi Finals with Falkirk awaiting the winner. Beat Falkirk over 2 legs and then we will face off against the side that finishes 2nd bottom of the Premiership.

From a personal point of view its been a hellish season in Scotlands 2nd Tier, 30 years ago we were in the UEFA Cup Final, lets hope that this occasion is marked with an immediate return to the Top Flight at the first time of asking. I want to be playing Celtic again next season, not fucking Dumbarton!

Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

As much as I as a Barca fan hate Real Madrid, I have the the utmost respect for them as the greatest team in Europe because of their incredible record of cups. Last night against Atletico de Madrid reinforced my view of Los Blancos' superiority with their superb display in routing the hapless Atletico and Renaldo's magnificent hat trick was, to put it simply, truly stupendous. Having said all that, I still hope Juve, if they get to the Final, will win the Champions League now that my team are not in it any more and because of Italy's greatest goal keeper, Gianluigi Buffon and because he's always been my favourite, forza Juve

Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

Yes, I see what you mean, mate. That's one of the main reasons I hate the Old FirmThumb down. So called soccer fans bring shame on their clubs. As far as I'm concerned they are not true fans at all, only mindless thugs who havn't a cell brain between them and any semblence of intelligence or common sense!

Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

Well at least one group of people will be happy that Sunderland and Newcastle won't be in the same division next season Rallkin123, the police, these local rivals hate each other and whenever its derby day in the city it tends to end with mass brawls. Youtube has loads of videos with the 2 sets of fans of fighting and they say it's only a game lol Big Grin

Here's one such video!

Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

Yes, well done to the Toon, but sadly Sunderland will be going down to the championship for next season, Scottishbloke so their won't be any Tyne Wear derbies for a whileCry
