The bad is that there are men who you have to say .
But if looks some sick desire,me also not surprising that.

Re: Now on ETV - The current show

I'll rephrase my thoughts, after which I'll stop posting in this topic as I feel this belongs more to ETV's general discussion than anything.

Again, it's business. What is the best state of mind to adopt if you want to be satisfied by such business? Knowing that the models are there to work, knowing that you are basically their customer base, knowing that for a certain price you can choose among a range of 'products', be it a simple call to spend if your time if you have nobody else to talk to (again - consider that this is a reality in some cases, and again, I mean no scorn to those people), someone with whom you can give way to your pervert mood (which might go beyond common sense but this is not the place to discuss it and, also, girls are used to that as well), or a request for a show. With this reasoning, you get what you pay for.

It has worked (and it is working) for me, so you might consider this as another point of view: as long as you are aware that these girls are paid to smile to you, are paid to tell you what you want to hear, are paid to fulfill (to a certain extent, of course) your wishes, are paid to fake interest in what you tell them (with the exception of some cases when they are genuinely interested), and this is a business relationship and nothing else, both you and the model will be happy and satisfied. What more could you ask for? Smile

Of course, we could discuss for years about whether you really get what you pay for (half-fulfilled requests, horrid camerawork, blablabla).

What happens if Eki wakes up, understands reality and in desperation commits suicide ?
Who is to blame then ?

This is indeed the good reaction, and yet everybody seems to prefer Kate's stupid romance.

Not everybody. I am very tired of this false game. It's beyond show business ethics.

My dear njutare, I invite you to the Jo post, section Models. Another good example.

I don't know if there is any solution to this problem, apart from modifying completely the rules. For example, writing everywhere in the studio : hello stupid viewers, we just want your money, we don't care about you, whatever we say Cool

Tarl_Cabot wrote:these guys simply get the answer they want. and everyone should know this business or do you really expect that a woman falls in love with someone who sent a sms but has never called nor has met her ever in real life. the words "I love you" aren't more than a code for "Thx for your call/ sms and that you supported me. I would be glade to get more of your attention (= money)." although the principle "let the models become your best friends" is really working in a few cases. I think it isn't a problem with the love word @etv because everyone should know the game.
it's probably more fair than a guy whispering to a woman (or another guy) "I luv U" instead of "Let me remove your panties. Immediately!"

and you can be sure that it isn't the worst for a model's purse to get some calls and answer some sms. ;)
although some models spend their shows lying on the couch and more financial conditions exist than a fix money plus some bonus.

So...
- At the very best : using very badly chosen words to play a money-game.
- At the very worst : giving false hopes to a naive viewer, hence taking his money away.

You can give me the explanation you want, I do not find this veeery moral...

By the way Kristina once had a much more better reaction to a viewer who said he loved her, saying "wait a minute this is just a show".
This is indeed the good reaction, and yet everybody seems to prefer Kate's stupid romance.

That is true, and that is why I think that the best (for me, of course, that doesn't apply to every single viewer naturally) approach is that of knowing that your 'friendship' with a model starts the moment you spend money, and ends when you stop spending it; as long as you can manage to stay focused on that (and there are a number of factors which may hinder and obstacle this clarity of mind, I know that: age, living a single and lonely life, ect. ect, and I'm not saying this with scorn but with compassion, I'm serious), nobody will get false expectations, illusions and all that.

People like Uwe or Eki will succeed (or have already succeeded) only in making a fool of themselves in front of every other viewer.

Re: Now on ETV - The current show

Two special guests (Claudia & Scarlet) were in the studio to have a short small-talk with their good friend Kristina.
