After such an eruption, for which the Richter scale is hardly sufficient, it´s clear that the thread will serve a purpose for a long time yet. In this stage the need to write is to a large extent dictated by the shock and frustration felt by many, also those who I am not sure have posted much here before. The need to read what others have written may not be felt to the same extent. That, however, is a sad thing, for it may help sometimes to learn the thoughts of fellow members who have taken the trouble to express more well-grounded and not only spontaneous opinions. Those were (mostly) posted in an earlier stage and may have gone sadly unnoticed by the later posters. But they can still be found. So, among the greatest Gia fans perhaps ten or so have made contributions which (I think) ought to give consolation for so many others. And here comes the hard task for me, giving examples to show what I mean. A dangerous thing of course. (And remember that all this is extremely IMHO!) But if I take my dice and throw it… like that…alea iacta est… and then… alphabetic order… like that… yes! So, you mourners, why not read what brudgon, hanshel, kyke and shaky are saying? |
