Meanwhile Kristina was approaching behind her, without even being heard by Joanna wearing her headset... When, all of a sudden, she noticed Kristina so close behind her, Joanna, embarrassed stopped talking. All that she did was to shake her head or nod to Kristina, trying to feign innocence and nonchalance a reaction that looks like that of somebody almost caught in the act, one might say. How strange! Who would have expected that? Also considering that Joanna had no hesitation, no difficulty at all in acting (mostly talking dirty) close to another model, see the videos with Sugar and Randa previously [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig] (note no. [3]). Here's my theory on this. [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig] Is there any chance Joanna, who that night apparently hadn't fully satisfied her cyberlust [1], for lack of phone callers, turned to someone easily reached through her headset: i.e. Antonio the cameraman and, let's not forget, Kristina's boyfriend? We could look at it as a sort of secondary effect due to the interaction of elements of a closed small community forced to spend hours crammed into a pretty small world, i.e. the closed, and if I may, promiscuous environment of ETV in which female models, and (largely) male staff worked very closely together, that undoubtedly facilitated model-cameraman "interactions" (female-male type) but, with no shortage of girls, there was no reason to exclude the female-female type, just not to miss anything, as they say. Admittedly I can only count on circumstantial evidences, since my argument is based on: - assuming that Joanna wasn't talking to a viewer - assuming that the name of the one she was turning to, as derived from lip-reading, was Antonio - assuming that Antonio was the very Kristina's boyfriend - assuming that he was in the control room contextually to the presence of Kristina in the studio to justify Joanna's discomfort. I know it is actually not that much, but still... Anyway, it doesn't lack consistency, a reasonable consistency, because it tries, or it forces if you prefer, to contextualize and rationalize the whole thing within a framework whose overview makes sense. As for Joanna, she would most likely have suffered less serious consequences from the impact of the crisis, thanks to the fact that she worked for ETV both as model and as moderator. Anyway, her point of view about working in ETV, shared by her close friend Evah, (sorry, but I cannot find the recording of that conversation) and, I would say, also by almost all the models, was: "Money is just there, close at hand. All you have to do is pick it up". Girls were enticed by the prospect of quick and easy money and were equally easily recruited by ETV. After all, they had to play an effortless game, even for supposed girls next door, and money earned with little effort would have helped to silence somehow their conscience, and overcome any of their reluctances as well. As a matter of fact, with hindsight, some ETV models turned out to be anything but girls next door. Recently in her latest painting, among her "favourite" (?!?) celebrities [*] Joanna also portrayed the great German opera composer Richard Wagner, and this is something new, totally unexpected from her, at least for me. Mind you, everybody is free to choose his heroes, idols, myths or whatever to place in his personal Pantheon, so to speak, but I wonder why she included Wagner, considering that she had absolutely no idea of Bayreuth even merely as a German city, since she invariably confused it with Beirut, as demonstrated on several occasions when she worked in ETV as a mod, let alone associate, through the annual Bayreuth Festival, the Bavarian city to Wagner and his music, which shows she was far from being a "huge fan" of Wagner and his works, to put it mildly. Well, what to say, a crowd of famous people, some of them possibly included by hearsay... or I could be wrong, because, maybe in recent times, I mean after her long period in ETV, she has striven to make up for some deficiencies. If so, good for her. [*] Actually you can find anything and everything, for better or for worse, e.g., Anne Frank and Adolf Hitler! Or some very popular icons like Chaplin, Einstein, Lady D., Mandela, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Elon Musk, Dante, Shakespeare, Wilde, Allan Poe, Hugo, Dumas, Tolstoj, Dostoevsky, Kafka, Eco, Freud, The Dalai Lama, Darwin, Tesla, Marie Curie, Rita Levi Montalcini, Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Verdi, Vivaldi, Queen Elizabeth I, Catherine II the Great, as well as a bunch of pop-music artists/singers: Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Celine Dion, John Lennon, David Bowie, Elvis Presley, Freddie Mercury, Andrea Bocelli, Ludovico Einaudi, not to mention her beloved "fellow" painters: Caravaggio, Salvador Dalí, Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Picasso, Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, to name only a few. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Blunders - She was reputed to be the best German moderator and yet she could not distinguish between Bayreuth and Beirut, so, whenever she came across the word "Bayreuth" within an advertisement, she systematically misread it, and voilà, she magically moved Bayreuth from Bavaria to Lebanon turning it into Beirut.
