I think there's not much conspiracy. As long as she mainly acts in the background the camera won't take notice, even if she steps ahead a few times in a shift, to get attention she has to be present all the time.

Ah now that u mention it: do u remember way back, before penelope left etv? she was always placed on friday, saturday and sunday, i was always looking forward for the weekend, but most of the time she was in the back, ignored. until this week, lin got an almost same time schedule than penelope, but maybe i'm thinking about this too much =)

I don't know what happened to Penelope, but Kristina is also an example for the opposite.
She often acted in the background in the last months and was pretty often ignored by the cam, but in the last shows she much more often stepped into the limelight, made hot action with other girls, and believe it or not, gets attention of the camera.
Of course it's hard work for a girl to get the attention of the camera back, but it's possible, let's hope Lin can make it

I think the main reason is that she's often for the complete show in the backgroud and less active in the past.
