Well done to Celtic, but they got themselves out of jail and in my view were very lucky to win. I thought Aberdeen really put up a good fight on Saturday and it truly was a real sickner for them to lose the game in the way they did. Celtic have got a habit of scoring late goals when it comes to the Scottish Cup. I know better than more people after they snatched victory away from the jaws of defeat when they came back being 1-0 behind to beat my Dundee United team 2-1 in 1985, 1988. With regards to my Dundee United team. I am still very very down about what happened to us yesterday. Us supporters deserved better than the dog shit which the players served up for us but I think it was just a game too far for them. The players on the pitch were simply exhausted. We had already played 5 games to get to this stage. We should have been given a penalty in the 1st leg, instead Simon Murray gets a red card for apparently diving ![]() Over the border and into England, another dramatic Play Off match came to its conclusion. Well done to Huddersfield Town who will play next season in the English Premier League after beating Reading 4-3 on penalties after normal time and extra time still nothing could separate the 2 teams. Its a cruel way to decide who gets promoted but it has to be brought to a conclusion somehow. [hidden image - please register] |

North of the border we have Celtic v Aberdeen. I hope Aberdeen do the unthinkable and win the Scottish Cup against Brendan Rodgers seemingly invincible side. On a sidenote, many thanks for your opinions Ralkin123, you are adding some much needed discussion into this Thread
![]() As for my Dundee United team, I will decline to make any comments until everything has been concluded tomorrow but I am really on edge as we are either 90 minutes or more depending on possible extra time and penalties on whether we can return to the Scottish Premiership or face another long season in the Championship. So much at stake and it all boils down to one game! |

Bad luck to Ajax it wasn't to be. Well done to Man Utd and even though I wanted Ajax to win, Utd deserved their victory. To all the victims of the horrendous Manchester bombing, you are in our thoughts. Pax Vobiscum. RIP

All the best to that great club Ajax in the Europa League Final against Man Utd tomorrow
![]() ![]() ![]() I also want Ajax to win as one of my all time favourite heroines is the brave Jewish girl Anne Frank who with her Family and a few trusted friends hid in a small attic room in Amsterdam from the cruel Nazis when the Netherlands was occupied during the war. She has inspired so many people with her famous diary and even Nelson Mandela said after being released from prison in 1990 that her diary gave him great inspiration and courage to fight on and to never give up and to believe in the ultimate goodness in Mankind ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Well said, Scottishbloke about your team and the less glamorous clubs North and South of the Border. I sincerely hope that you get to play in Scotland's Top League next season. The 1st leg is on Thursday 7:15pm on BT Sport. I will be watching and cheering your side on to victory in both legs
