Soon all of the fun will take place there." ups, didn´t they learn from the last fee failing experience? |

I regret that a glorious channel like that have this conclusion, but in the end is what they deserve.
From 2011 they incredibly started to retreat their number one show, the NightShow, in second place because they wanted to be really rilevant in the internet world. A show that has fed a lot of people in these studios, they became rilevant thanks to the Nights. Exclusives, Premiums, Daytime Premiums, Exclusives again, all they wanted to do was to beat down the Nightshows. They never understand that a website is important in this days, but it shouldn't go into competition with TV, they simply have to coexist in armony. In my opinion they aren't good business men/women, they kill a channel that a lot of people really loved, fans didn't appreciate only ass or pussy, but in some cases even the persons behind that. Shame on you, is what everyone with brain should tell they. |

And the other question is what type and quality of shows they will offer. @George, if it were only 10.000$ a month they'd better fire all directors and other hindering staff but keep the broadcast instead. But from what I found with google some time ago for 2 Satellite licences you can add a 0, if they have to rent the uplink stations that will be more than 1.000.000$ per year even with the reduced bit rate. So from the expenses that will make their life much easier, but as a webshow they are one in a million, so it will be difficult to find new customers. And if they continue like currently putting customers and models off that has high potential to fail too. Regards Joker |

So ETV is going online only, will this kill off the show, most certainly it will. Without a television audience they are as good as doomed. To make matters worse only logged in viewers will have any reason to call the show.
What ETV should have done was take the model set by UK channel Babestation whereas the TV show itself continues whilst airing a separate feed such as what they do with the web only shows such as Unleashed. Secondly they are reliant on the casual viewers too. If they'd even include there show in say the Rampant TV feeds then they might just might be able to survive as a web only show but the route they are taking is suicidal. Now after reading a few of the posts I think the type of callers who are likely to call the show is really subjective. Some may be more than happy just to phone up for a friendly chat whilst others inevitably will be wanting a completely different type of experience and at the risk of sounding vulgar about this I'm sure they have there fair share of callers just like any other adult channel who are those who simply just want to knock one off whilst the model carries out their whatever fantasy it may be. To try to categorise what type of person would phone the show is to make an assumption and generalization and should never be the basis in which any successful business should operate under. |

Cutting the satellites is an obvious choice, as they cost, in a comservative estimate, more than 10,000 Dollars a month and even the lowering of the satellite feed bitrate in the last 2 months didn't help much. Compared to what they make on calls and wishes, they were burnng cash at a very fast rate. But this move has downsides also - they will lose people who watched TV and sent in messages by phone and who were unable or unwilling to use the Internet, as one fellow member from here, I don't remember his name, who said he lives in rural Italy and the internet coverage there is very bad. And they will lose the dating messages, another considerable income source. They didn't make much sense even on TV, but they had a chance to reach their target when somebody stumbled upon the channel by channel surfing. What is the chance of stumbling upon the etvshow.com website? Zero ETV can have some momentum because the current viewers will still send in wishes, but when for whatever reason the number of these viewers will inevitably dwindle, for example, when their favourite model leaves, with no new models and viewers in sight, the future of ETV will be bleak. The upside - people will save money and have time for other activities. |

Only with a ETV account you can watch My dish needs aligning properly and I can't remember the last time I actually watched it directly . . . so no great loss  I don't have a problem with watching online - also with an account - but I would be extremely unwilling to pay for what they presently offer. If they "spice" it up a bit, then it might be worthwhile  but looking back over the years, I seriously doubt they will change anything.
