Psssst..... Ava-Tara show was great. Thumb up

Hi hubsonek
So it's a "-" in front of your available credits. In that case you cannot reach all ranges of their website like for example the pictures and vidoe range and maybe to watch a premium again even you have paid for it
and was watching when it happened originally ....

They are ignoring questions/posts to the Wall about the bank transfer it seems. Even after a reminder. Well, mine anyway. Smile

Always a privilege to see professionalism in customer relations at work................

Under the new "no choice" payment system, to buy 500 credits would cost ca. 610 euros. Under the bank transfer system 500 credits cost 450 euros, so I think we can guess at least one happy outcome for etv of the abandonment of that system Smile Looks like the best customers who buy the most credits are going to be coughing up a lot more than before.

We should wait till the US $ will fall again. Black Humor I know....

bellerophon wrote:Under the bank transfer system 500 credits cost 450 euros

It has been 475 € for 500 credits. Except December 2012 when we got 550 for the same price.
Did you offer us your private conditions Big Grin
Sorry beller, I am joking but the situation is ...

Re: Practical info about calling/sending messages and ETV Gold

If you have already bought the premium show I have found that you can still watch that show but after that you should still be able to log in and watch exclusive shows cos up untill recently I have had no credits on my account and been able to

Well I am not a member but I remember a discussion about this issue.
If you have 4 credits left and buy a show 4 credits priced, you seriously risk to not be able to watch it.

You missed a bit. Smile My avatar says "former etv TV show viewer. I do, or did, buy some webshows. I don't have a credit card because I choose not to. I don't need one. Debit cards are fine.

It's not about the number of credits you can buy, it's about the cost. 160 credits buys 160 minutes' talk time. Many of etv's best customers use that amount very quickly. Under the previous system, 500 credits would have cost them 450 euros. Now 500 credits by credit card will cost them 610, roughly. I can't believe that even etv thinks it's a good idea to upset its best customers. It's certainly not smart. So I imagine there is a limit of 160 imposed by someone else.

We'll see.

Like I said, "Unless you mean the TV shows in the specific".
Debit cards are perfectly fine indeed, even more convenient than credit cards if you ask me (though Epoch is certainly a reliable intermediary, much more than directly giving your money to ETV through bank transfer, but hey...).

I still stand by my point, though. For those members who use credits for premiums and VIPs, there is no reason to be -very- upset, whereas the "best customers" are so blinded and in love that they will gladly spend 100€ more than before, if this is the only possibility to talk with their beloved ones.

That's my idea. If, instead, they end up pissing them off, even better.

bellerophon wrote:I have now had a reply from etv re the Bank Transfer situation. It did not address the increased expense for big spenders, nor the lack of communication, nor the Moderators' refusal to post messages about this topic on the Wall, nor whether they could accept a higher number of credits at the progressively reducing rate. It simply told me to use my Credit Card (which is up to a max of 160 credits per transaction)

In a second message etv tells me that they will definitely announce something when they know for sure. "Before that is not a good idea". I'm sure they will address all the above issues then.

In the meantime the lack of an official explanation (there hasn't been even an official acknowledgement) gives room for speculation, what the hell might be going on... Seriously how easy is it to open a new bankaccount? Has it to do with the european paying system change between banks? Have the bankaccounts been impounded for taxresearch? Is the company on the verge of bankrupcy? Is there an argument in the top?

Surely if it was something simple it would not be so damn difficult (as it apparantly is) to say something about it after all this time.... strange. Confused

Well, for a "former ETVShow viewer" you're certainly nagging them a lot about this particular issue. Big Grin
Unless you mean the TV shows in the specific.

I personally find it more enjoyable to simply watch the havoc and distress it is causing among members who evidently in their long lives failed to learn about the existence of Credit Cards.
If 160 credits aren't enough for a few weeks for a member (until they announce whatever it is they have to announce), I'd suggest that he do a priority check.

I wrote to the Wall asking etv if it would be possible for their Customer Communication Team Smile to announce major changes to routine - like the sudden suspension of Bank Transfer payments. They chose not to allow the post to appear. I also wrote privately to Christine asking if it was no longer possible to buy a larger number of credits - up to 500 - at a favourably reduced rate. No reply (yet?)

Be patient (understanding), they were too busy on the translation from German ...to German Big Grin

what does mean and what it's aim: MOVIE PREMIERE?
Sorry for my ignorance, but I need some elucidation.
Thank you for any help.

It means they have edited the premium shows involved into one "movie" I never purchased one and I can't advice otherwise, but it's everybody's personal choice Smile

I bet they have cut out the naughty bits and left the farty arty. ill never know .

You loose the bet.

They named it movie, because those are recordings of premium shows which were longer than one hour.

The principle of purchase has not changed. When having spent your credits for the life show you can watch the recording for free.

Slow
