dazaman wrote:Well if the information is correct from tomorrow Friday 17th there are new regulation going to be put in place, regarding what the girls can wear during the daytime shows Angry

Which means the girls will have to be fully dressed on the babeshows.

I think this is part reaction about Bangbabes day shows, but maybe it was already in place and waiting for a start date?

So not only effecting ETV it will also be the UK standard Sad

Lets wait and see if this is true, but sadly if it is then we don't have long to wait Cry

Apparently night shows have new rules as well with no boobs out before 10pm and no nude before 11pm.

Watching Cara this morning I can live with this new rule
but maybe ETV should watch Elite too and learn something. Smile

Re: Ofcom Discussion and News

It looks like the puritans of Europe are decided to end the open Sexy TV programs, by increasing the presure to the channels.
Arguments for that are very suspicious, and the kind of arguments that definetely make me nervious because I feel are against my freedom.
When someone argue and defend a possition "To protect someting related with the moral", I start getting scared....
Nowadays is plenty of Technical Options to protect yourself and minors for this kind of things, and I wonder why they are so insistent about this but at the same time so "light" with other things which are totally out of Control, as violence in TV for instance.
Also makes me think why if you pay for the same kind of things then fairly everythig is allowed.
If money is involved then moral does not matter.

Re: Ofcom Discussion and News

the latest channel that ofcom have targeted is asian babes a viewer complained that they were not waring panties and masturbating close up to camera?
but what they actually saw was a girl [yes a girl] lol wearing flesh coloured panties on.

so babeworld did nothing wrong and said so to ofcom but after they reviewed the tape they still found babeworld in breach?

here,s the link to vostok 1 and thedarkknights comments on the matter good reading.

Re: Ofcom Discussion and News

just read some more on that link, and regards swearing on tv because mediawatch does not agree with ofcoms survey saying it does not ring true 130 people must be wrong?
they go on to say that the information that they get is the complete opposite, but who do they get there information off, because i have never been asked nor nobody i know [and i do know a lot of people]

and then goes on to talk to a lib dem mp who says more or less the same as mediawatch.

the people they seem to talk to are upper class idiots or middle class idiots who want to be upper class idiots, who spend half the time out of the country or just don,t watch tv.
but thats just my opinion.

but this information does come from the daily mail so more idiots.

so you can,t always blame ofcom as they have asked normal people [this time] there opinion, but because others think that the survey is wrong we might be stuck as we are.

what they would be better off doing is send out a questionaire to all adults in the country who are registered voters and people who spend more than 6 months in the country as residents, to ask there opinion rather than making are minds up for us.
once every 10 years like the cencus as attitudes change in that time to what people expect to see and ear on there tv.

if i act like a child i expect to be treated like one,but if i act like a adult then i expect to be treat like a adult [not a child]

Re: Ofcom Discussion and News

its looks like the death of ofcom is a bit premature.
because i have read a document basically saying that none of the babe channels will be able to show any adult content until midnight [uk time]
from the 1st of september, this does not mean they will be any stronger it just means later.

so if ofcom does die this policy will still be around as a reminder of them.

here,s the link for people who have more patience in reading through rubbish than me.

and thanks to scotishbloke for the link Thumb up

Re: Ofcom Discussion and News

Can't see the rules being relaxed very much if at all but maybe one or two of the channels will see how far they can push the current legislation

what as brought on this change in policy who knows, but it does mean that adult entertainment is a step closer to being for adults.

but don,t expect any changes over night.

and as i say its a step forward.
doubtful that it will make any changes to adult entertainment. only at the end of Q3/ start of Q4 2010 when the babe channels are no-longer under ofcom control will there be a big shake up in the content.
even then i wont be expecting to much of a change.

Re: Ofcom Discussion and News

well it looks like a hung parliament not literally shame, what this means is that non of the parties has one outright.
with conservatives winning more seats, but here is where we have a problem,it all depends on what the lib dems do now because they can form a coalition with cons or lab to form the next government.
and of course if they back lab brown will still be pm with no change on anything, and if they back cons i still think no change?
on that last part that is my own personal view lets hope i am wrong.

Re: Ofcom Discussion and News

I dont think ofcom will either change name or give any more slack than it has, this is a nanny state and all adults are gonna remain children because basicly we dont stick together Sad
