The Wendigo - Truth or Myth...

The term "Wendigo" or "Windigo" is used to describe both the evil spirit as well as the creature that humans can become when possessed by the spirit.
The Wendigo is a demonic spirit believed by Algonquin-based Native American tribes to possess humans and turn them into cannibals.

[hidden image - please register]

The best known way to become a Wendigo is through cannibalism. By eating another human being,
The Wendigo legend was prevalent in the northern United States and Canada, and particularly roamed around
woods and forests in the coldest areas where food was scarce and survival was challenging.

[hidden image - please register]

There is a condition known as "Wendigo Psychosis" under which people who have reasonable access to other food
sources would inexplicably become overcome with the need to consume human flesh.
One such person, a Cree man named Swift Runner, famously slaughtered his entire family
in 1878 and ate them, despite being only 25 miles from the Hudson Bay Company's supply post.
In 1907 a Oji-Cree man named Jack Fiddler and his brother were arrested for killing
over 14 people who he claimed were Wendigos or about to become them.
As tribes have been more and more influenced by surrounding culture, the reports of the Wendigo
have declined over the years, but as with most evil spirits, it is doubtful that this creature is gone for good.

Two ghost hunters decided to visit it and find out if they could see some themselves.
And what they spotted was truly terrifying...

To the side of the shot, two cannons come into view and this is where the apparition appears.
It strolls past the weapons and appears to walk towards the car in which the two ghost hunters are sat in.
Then – just as quick as it appeared – the ghost disappears.
The cameramen are understandably shocked at what they have just witnessed.

[hidden image - please register]

A Texas man collected two buckets of pennies to pay a $200 speeding fine in an act of protest against the city.
Brett Sanders of Frisco, Texas shared a video to his YouTube channel, depicting the process which included
collecting the pennies from a local bank before dumping them off at Frisco Municipal Court.

[hidden image - please register]

"I'm not a big fan of extortion. I was convicted by a jury for driving
39 in a 30 and was subject to $212 at the barrel of a gun," Sanders wrote.
Sanders, who works as an IT professional and makes "Liberty Oriented Media" on his YouTube channel,
told CNN that he felt that the reasoning behind the ticket was unjust
and said he hoped his payment would work as a protest.

The video shows Sanders arriving at the Frisco Municipal Court and speaking to the women
behind the counter before bringing in two buckets with the words "Extortion payment" written
on them and dumping the nearly 22,000 pennies on the counter.

City of Frisco spokeswoman Dana Baird also told CNN that two-coin cashing
machines were used to count the pennies over the course of three hours.

"There was an overpayment of $7.81," she said.

Sanders received a call about the overpayment but said he had no interest in collecting his change.

Even more hilariously, the force of the explosion causes the man's shorts to fall down around his ankles.
Red-faced, the man quickly pulls up his trousers in an attempt to preserve his dignity,
while his friends laugh hysterically in the background.

It appears the man was uninjured in the incident, which is thought to have taken place at a car garage in Brazil.
