Can someone explain what's happened to Hotbird over the last 8 months or so. I have a Technomate TM-5500 and when I used to scan for fta/scrambled channels on hotbird, I used to get somewhere in the region of 870 channels, now when I scan I get less than half that amount.
Also, I would really like to get back a couple of channels that don't even show up in the listings any more. I'm missing Arte, TV Polonia and TV Kultura. Please don't link me to one of these sat guides, because I find them very confusing and manually tuning in from the frequencies they provide hardly ever seems to work anyway. Is there any simple steps I can take to get these three channels back in my listings? Thanks in advance. |

So now it looks like the issue has been resolved - an incompatible/out-of-date receiver. At least now I know - it was the not knowing that was frustrating me. Thanks again. |

Just to clear up, I've manually searched for Arte France on both frequencies that come up on these sat guide sites, but no matter how I search it won't find it. |
