Re: How to record Streams?!

If you would like or prefer name consistency, you may need to take into account leading zero on time.
Against what TDK shared, same thing with common naming that you can sort on

set mydate=%date:~6,4%%date:~3,2%%date:~0,2%
for /f "tokens=1-2 delims=:., " %%a in ('echo %time: =0%') do (set mytime=%%a%%b)

This will ensure mydate is yyyymmdd, and mytime has a leading zero always.
As an example, it does make the assumption on UK date format, but you can alter the parameters based on your locale to split out the date command into the constituent parts

Oh and I absolutely agree with TDK that you should ensure all parameters and values are pre-created in your batch file. Makes things so much easier in the long run.

When working with directories, make use of the mkdir rather than md command as it will create intermediate directories if they don't already exist. You can use something simple like below to set where you want to save a file, and it will check and create if not there already.

set outputdir=d:\somedirectory\and-another\and-final-one\
for /f "tokens=* delims=\" %%g in ('echo %outputdir%') do (if not exist "%%~dg%%~pg" mkdir "%%~dg%%~pg")

TheDarkKnight wrote:It's better to build the path into the filename from the start, so...

For /f "tokens=1-4 delims=/-" %%a in ('date /t') do (set mydate=%%a%%b%%d%%c)
For /f "tokens=1-2 delims=/:" %%a in ("%TIME%") do (set mytime=%%a%%b)

set FileName="I:\SinTV\SinTV_Ch1_%mydate%_%mytime%.flv"
set FileName=%FileName: =%

Works

andyxm715 wrote:if you want to save your files to a different drive / folder you can use for example "F:\Streams\ %filename%" instead of just %FileName%

If you do that, you end up with filenames that start with a space.
You can faff around in DOS to remove the quotes that cause it but fuck that shit...

set str="TooManyQuotes"
for /f "useback tokens=*" %%a in ('%str%') do set str=%%~a

It's better to build the path into the filename from the start, so...

For /f "tokens=1-4 delims=/-" %%a in ('date /t') do (set mydate=%%a%%b%%d%%c)
For /f "tokens=1-2 delims=/:" %%a in ("%TIME%") do (set mytime=%%a%%b)

set FileName="I:\SinTV\SinTV_Ch1_%mydate%_%mytime%.flv"
set FileName=%FileName: =%

Works

Re: How to record Streams?!

Hey guys, I just updated my stream codes on my Google Docs, I added a few new Babestation Streams to the Babestation portion of the Doc, go check it out.

[hidden link - please register]

And as always the link is also attached to my Forum Signature.

Happy Holidays.

Edit:

Also you might have noticed the new Babestation Germany stream pop up. Its just Babestation 24. The code I have in my docs for BS24 is much better quality but i will include the new one as a backup in case the HD Stream closes one day. If you are wondering the differences in quality here they are.

The old BS24 Code on my docs - Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 960x540 (201:106) 25fps 3072kbps [V: h264 main L3.1, yuv420p, 960x540, 3072 kb/s]

The new streams quality - Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 720x404 25fps 819kbps [V: h264 baseline L3.1, yuv420p, 720x404, 819 kb/s]

I'm not talking about the livestream, but their professional videos. They play in a flash media player from a hidden location.

Why do they make it so hard, most other porn sites let you save and keep the videos if you're a paid member.

the bsx and babestation site content is copyrighted mate. your only paying to view it. so asking in the forums how to rip it is a no,no.
also remember to view the content you have to be signed in so if they catch you ripping there stuff your account will get banned without a refund for the unused days you have already payed for.

Dont ask me why...

Try setting the capture fps to your screens refresh rate, 60 75 90Hz or higher if your monitor supports it, the higher, the more resources needed.
setting the screen to 120hz/60 hz will make zero difference to the end result. because if the vid is streaming at 25 fps thats what you get its not like playing a game where you can get up to your refresh rate.

your best recording at the rate of the video so your in sync. not doing so will cause stutter in the final recorded stream

typically for the channels your looking at 720/450 25fps 800kbps. recording at 120 fps means your recording each frame 4 times with an occasional 5th or half frame thrown in for measure.
same with 60fps your recording each frame at least twice with 1 extra every 4 or 5 frames.(60/25 doesnt divide evenly so you will get an extra frame added every few frames which will cause hitching)

the upshot is your grabs take up way more disk space than they need to and take 4 times longer to recode back to 25 fps. (which should be the end result) 18 if your recording 1 of the camshows.
if you want to quickly find out what fps your screen grabbing at use fraps. it will put a frame counter on screen. what ever it shows as the fps thats the rate you want to record at. no more no less.

NEW Babestation Starlets Channel

RTMP Stream Code

"rtmp://178.33.229.31/cellcast/encoder41" -f "WIN 14,0,0,145" -W "http://iptv.firestormmedia.tv/flash/player/player.swf?type=1&affid=1234" -y "encoder41" -v

Just need to add your own bits at the start and end.

Re: How to record Streams?!

After having trouble recording with Fraps I´ve been looking for a new software to make recodings. I´ve found a software that I think works really good!

It´s called Bandicam. [hidden link - please register]

Here is a small tutorial & my settings in the software.

After installing the software you end up with this screen:
[hidden link - please register]

First of all you should mark the "Record/Stop Hotkey" and choose a button on the keybord to start&stop the recordings (you use the same button for both)

After that you choose what videosettings you would like to use.

Personally I use these settings:
[hidden link - please register]

To change videosettings simply click on "Settings" beneath the "Format" settings:
[hidden link - please register]

The reason is that I can use Sony Vegas for editing MotionJPEG(keep in mind that the files will turn out big when recording in MJPEG!) wich is my favorite video-editing software.

I´ve set the fps to 120fps (mabe it will work with 60fps), but the reason that I choosed 120fps is that I didnt get smooth video-output when recording in 60fps.
Dont ask me why...

In the same settings-tab you click on the "Settings"-button:
[hidden link - please register]

and you will end up with this:
[hidden link - please register]

From there you choose from what source the soundrecording should be from, in my case: Win8 Sound (WASAPI)
Leave the "Secondary sound device" disabled

Finally you choose where you want to save your recordings:

For me this software and these settings works flawless. Keep in mind that you can´t do anything else on your computer during the recording!
The software record anything thats on the screen, so if you switch tab or starts a new program you will see that in the recording afterwards.
And if you move your mouse during the recording it will show/record the timeline (but surprisingly not the mousepointer...)

After recording I start Sony Vegas and simlply drag the file in to the timeline and start editing!
I use Sony Vegas 7 (dont know if other versions of Sony Vegas or other videoediting software will handle these files) and it works like a charm to edit the files!

And remember to be sure that you have alot of free discspace when you record.
1 minute with these settings will be about 600MB of data...

Anyway, I hope this guide will help someone to start record thier own shows/clips! Smile
