Rapidgator (Help please)

Am I missing something here? every time I try to download using Rapidgator, I click 'slow speed download' and a 45 second counter appears, once the 45 seconds is up, it reverts back to the 'slow speed download' button, with no download starting. I click it again and it repeats the same thing. I've tried to register an account but every time i try, I just get a server error message. Any ideas???

Re: Rapidgator (Help please)

Simply unpick the box Download with Rapidgator's download manager at the bottom of the page.
Quite invasive in my opinion.

I tried what Haiduc proposed here [hidden link - please register] , and at least in that one try I made (I have nothing I want to download from RG at the moment) it worked.
RG is crap for free users anyway, but this is another masterpiece of them.
If they wanted to provide this downloadmanager as service they should offer it in their download area, but not try to fool their users, this way it just seems to be malware (I don't want to try if it is or not), on top naming it same as the file I want to download. And even Avira brings a warning when the download window appears.
Epic Fail Thumb down

OT: big hosters act as Rapidshare and Mega, others include malwares, is this the end of file sharing?

Re: Rapidgator (Help please)

Use an downloadmanager, like JDownloader.

Some File-Host don´t work without cookies!

@Tarl_Cabot:
Rapidgator don´t need Java(but JavaScript).

Re: Rapidgator (Help please)

did you download any file today?
maybe you have reached the download limit 3 dls for guests or free members.

did you try different browser? maybe it's a browser problem or a java (is a bitch) bug.
