Receipt of ETV on Astra 1A

For several years, I watch ETV on Astra 1.
The last frequency used was 12552 MHz Vertical (22000 KS/s).
Since Tuesday (early May), I do not receive ETV (or any other channel) on this frequency with my satellite receiver Topfield.
For cons, I still receive ETV on this frequency with my satellite receiver Nokia.

At first I thought it was a hardware problem but as I have this problem with the strings of certain frequencies and therefore have no problem with receiving channels broadcast on other frequencies, I checked channel listings of KingOfSat ([hidden link - please register] and Lyngsat ([hidden link - please register]
On these two listings, ETV is no longer broadcasted (on Astra 1) !!!

Does anyone have an explanation?

Re: Receipt of ETV on Astra 1A

I use a "TechniSat-DIGITHD8+" receiver and have and had no problems with the receiving of the channel.
The data, written by Tarl are still the same ones.

Maybe it has to do with the switch-off of the analogue broadcasting but this shouldn't have to do anything with this problems.
ETV was and is receivable with an digital satellite receiver only. The reason how I explored the channel. My old analogue one broke down in January of 2007
and i bought a new digital one. During the first configuration and sorting of the channel list I had discovered a channel with the name "eUroticNeu".
In the last time there was a break-down of the channel for a certain time but the signal of the transponder had been okay every time.

So my comment for that and what about with a new search run ?
Only an attempt to help and

Best Regards

a small addition: The name isn't "Astra 1A" it is "Astra 19,2E"
the same or different ones ???

Re: Receipt of ETV on Astra 1A

I discovered today, that the signal on Astra ETV has become stronger.
It was 50 percent (Astra on my antenna on lateral converter). Now 65. Other transponders with no changes.

I don't have a problem with my Technisat, but maybe it's related to some reconfigurations of Astra due to the shutdown of the analog broadcasting.
Until now I only read about related problems of several receivers with HD channels, but possible in some cases SD channels are also affected.
Or Topfield provided an Update which fixed the HD problem, but caused another problem.

Re: Receipt of ETV on Astra 1A

I watch it with the same frequency and i don´t have problems. I use a SM HD Receiver. Maybe you have technical problems with Topfiled? I read the pid V 460 A 470 and P 511, sometimes i have had the same problem because the pid has had three 0.

Have you tried a Network searching?
