There could be a number of reasons why they do it. They want money
 another option is they're in to public sex knowing hundreds could be watching them Sometimes you get a feel of there motivation when you go to view them. A look of not happy means not a natural entertainer  and some will just sit there and chat with few tokens but still smiling and enjoying chatting  An interesting thought though
