Director & Writer: Mike Cahill Stars: Michael Pitt, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Brit Marling Original source of the storyline: [hidden link - please register] A graduate student, Ian is researching the evolution of human eyes with Karen and Kenny. They are want to prove / disprove, once and for all, the origins of mankind. Seven years later, when the hospital takes an iris scan of his son and enters into the database, they appear to match with another person's eyes, which suggested that their son may be some sort of reincarnation of the deceased man. This film tries to contrast science with religion / spirituality. I'm not a believer so for me this film is about love  and a little bit about the meaning of life. Technically the movie is a typical low-budget movie, especially the first half hour, but if you like the interesting, meaningful movies then you will like this too. 7,5 / 10 Ps.: There is one nude scene in it with Astrid Bergès-Frisbey , maybe there is someone who interested in this.

Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor's interest, which backfires horribly. I find this a better sequel than the lost world and jurassic park 3, although nothing beats the original

The Taking of Deborah Logan (2014)
What starts as a poignant medical documentary about Deborah Logan's descent into Alzheimer's disease and her daughter's struggles as caregiver degenerates into a maddening portrayal of dementia at its most frightening, as hair-raising events begin to plague the family and crew and an unspeakable malevolence threatens to tear the very fabric of sanity from them all. Very good start, the second part is not as effective as the first however it gives you some good scare moments 6.5/10 |
