PS: comment from the swedish forward of "my" team: shitty cold. in sweden we use sport halls in the winter. |

In Novara yesterday night the match was played despite snow and temperature -2 C: heating coils below artificial grass. Weeks ago, Novara - Roma was played despite heavy rain, while Catania - Roma was, well, rained off. And somebody still oppose artificial grass. Many thanks to Novara and Cesena for proving all the reason for opposing are contradicted by facts. Parma - Juventus was deferred because of the snow on the terraces, not on the field, just like in Bologna last year. Napoli - Juventus this year was deferred because of the heavy rain... outside of the stadium. Apparently, also because of safety electrical issue related to the rain... We have an unbelievable STRUCTURAL issue with stadium, including the location. Juventus Stadium (which also have a modern and efficient heating) is exceptional in Italy, just the norm in the rest of Europe... |

Serie A, end of first round... let me just congratulate with:
teams Juventus out from the worst times of its history, set the new (for the team) Serie A record of consecutive games with no defeats (19, previous was 17)and has currently the best defense of the league (Juventus' Achille's heel, according to experts ![]() Juventus Stadium What's normal everywhere in the world is exceptional in Italy: Juventus is the only Italian pro team to own one's own stadium. Congrats for defeating evil Italian bureaucracy and making a miracle: an alway crowded stadium. Juventus was historically used to set new record in somebody else stadium ![]() Udinese usual "experts" gave "5" to Udinese because they sold strong players like Sanchez and did not bring in new talented ones; according to a main Italian newspaper, it should be a miracle for Guidolin leading the team to 4th place like last season. Well, now Udinese set team new record of point for first round and is three point from the top... with a very "low cost" team. players Francesco Totti last day scored his 211th goal with AS Roma, new Serie A record of goal scored with the same team (previoulsy, Nordhal with AC Milan). This season he could even possibly reach 3rd place between top scorer ever: Silvio Piola 274 Nordhal 225 Meazza and Altafini 216 Raffaele Rubino Novara captain scored with the same team in all (four) professional series in Italy, like just two player before him. |
