Time for a Hidden Section?

I asked the admin this in a PM, but he never offered me his views so I thought I'd put it out to the forum. In that there's now a policy which says we can't post clips/caps that obviously contravene Ofcom policy, I ask is it not time we have a hidden section for such material?
And before anyone points out how stupid it is to suggest such an idea on an open forum, I don't think there's any harm in it as it could be controlled in such a way that only trusted members receive an invite. Anyone else need never be any the wiser beyond this thread. |

Fair enough, Mauro. Thanks for the reply. Didn't realise it was a self-coded forum. As I'm sure you're aware it's a standard feature on ready-made forums, even the free ones.
My final thoughts on the subject, however, is that as far as I'm concerned we shouldn't be running scared from these bullies. I understand you're doing to help preserve these channels, but as far as I see it we have nothing to protect now, so what the hell? In all honesty we wouldn't be losing anything. |

Thanks for your suggestion, Billy, but for the time being no hidden section is planned. The forum has been self-coded and it would probably take alot of time to implement such a feature. And even if there would be such a section, there's never a guarantee that nobody shares content outside the forum.
