Sounds more like a way for them to know more information about the customers, and not just to see whether they are 18 years old or not... That's my conspiracy theorist self

Here is an update to the previous query, since I have been in touch with both Jamie & Alan about this issue. Here was their response.
"This is a temporary issue and R18 content will be accessible again shortly to all users that are age-verified to the requirements of ATVOD. Although members may have made a declaration that they are over 18, that alone is not rigorous enough. We shall shortly have an automated system in place to authenticate member. This will require full name, address and date of birth (and in some cases, passport or driving licence details) which will be verified securely against systems that are approved by ATVOD. These details must be the same as those by which the member has signed up. Once age-verified as over 18, they will have access to R18 content for the duration of your membership. The automated system shall be active within the next few days. However, in the meantime, we can manually check credentials providing they send the required information to us at verification@studio66tv.com along with the username to which they relate. This process should normally be done within 1 business day. If you would like us to manually process you, please provide us with the following:- 1. The username to your Studio66 membership 2. The method by which you joined the site 3. Your full name 4. Your address including postcode. 5. Your date of birth As mentioned above, it may be necessary to request further information in the form of a passport number or driving licence number. It may speed up the process if you provide them with your first response to questions 1-5 above. Please do not send us scans of your documentation. The information itself is sufficient. Many thanks for your patience." I hope that info clears it up for everyone. Ace. |

Actually iPure said something about it about a month ago. It's a new ruling that effects websites that have video on demand. As iPure said they were going to have to implement age verification because of their adult video on demand section. Not sure why this whould effect Studio66 though, as they don't have a Video on demand service.
Addition: I forgot that non members can pay £3 per vid to watch & download. So they do have a video on demand service. |

Any idea why Studio 66 aren't uploading some of their scheduled videos? They had a video of Katie K scheduled for, i think, Wednesday, and a video of Sophia Knight and Allie Haze, which is scheduled for today. Both videos are shown when you view any of the other videos, but when you click on them, it takes you back to the videos page. Kinda annoying when they can't stick to their schedule...

And a few minutes ago, that account tweeted that Gemma Hiles was on. Fair enough, it is her profile pic listed on the website, but when you tune in, it is of course Gemma Jane
 I've followed and unfollowed that account twice now. The first time I got fed up with them was when it was Neil Simon doing it and basically turning it into a plug for his own blog and his favourite girls, who had nothing to do with the channel. Then I gave it another go, but the final straw came when they were shamelessly plugging Danica's pics last year while she was on CBB. What ever happened to promoting your own girls? This latest fiasco just goes to show it's not worth following, unless it's for the comedy value

Very pleasant and unexpected surprise to see Mica Martinez back on the Studio66 schedule.
Now if he gets Emily Dean & Hannah Prentice back as well, it will virtually be the old squad back together.again. Then all we'll need is the old style 2-4-1's back.
