Breaking News - Another animal declared extinct

To add to the sad list of fast disappearing creatures on earth, another animal has today been officially declared extinct.  The animal in question is a species of Eastern European big cat - the Molvanian pussycat (Felis felix molvaniensis). The last one known to exist - which naturalists had sentimentally called Indiana - was last sighted on a hill in an Eastern European capital on January 24th 2009. Since then there have been no further reports of sightings.

The exact location of the last appearance of this creature is being kept a closely guarded secret, to avoid a huge avalanche of enthusiasts with recording equipment descending on the place and frightening off - or killing - any last reamining example of the species which may be in hiding.

In the meantime, a nation, indeed the whole world, mourns the passing of this fine specimen of the animal kingdom.

you are of course referring to the not so distant relative of the european lynx, another endangered feline, a few of which have been sighted in northern Spain

I've actually seen one of last, named Sugar, National Geographic says when it's censorship time, they go out only at early morning. :))))))))
