But I've just been looking at the profiles of the channels and was surprised to read that Eurotic TV does explicit nudity! Is that true and if so what time do these explicit shows start? Is it the same on Astra and Hotbird?

Astra and Hotbird is the same Programm,but the Nudity is not explicit.

Moderators are needed because they have to check about content (political, religious and other stuff), just as german ones.
Simone said he had to follow a lesson to manage this new feature, and the same for other mods. So don't mind for our sweetest italian mod.

The difference is that 2€ (I suppose it's pay900 service cost), I think too much.
Anyway, I don't know if they will keep old system too.
At least I hope now sms from Italy will have the same dignity and they will be VIP for real. So directors cannot ignorate them anymore.
And if this will mean easier work for moderators (and less upsets), it's a good thing.

Could be interesting for the "rest of the world", but for germany or italy? Germans pay 9,99€ max and how much is the cost 4 calls to the italian mod? Max. 3€ per minute?

You have right, one solution would been a fusion between sexysat and eurotic.
Less teasing at favour of a more high number of nice girls.
In the last period there are good presence at sexysat: Michelle, Isabella in addition to Mystery; if with them there would be also...what great channel .
