THE (WHITE) KNIGHT MOVE
They don't care about interaction, as explained by Wilsonsand in a perfect way: If the goal of the messages was the interaction between models and viewers during the show, right now, because the making of shows with an artistic concept which gives no chances to a real interaction, the messages are meaningless. If their intent was really to spare the girls unpleasant and sometimes offensive comments then is enough to turn off the screen during the show, and, only when the show is over, choose the positive messages - received during the show - to post on the wall. No interaction for sure, but in this way models and crew can read only positive reviews - as well as their customers do already long time... Closing the possibility of sending messages during the premium shows (don't forget: who buy the show can send text messages for free, during the show), now they oblige the bunch of "blind fans" (also named white knights), who cannot survive without sending everytime an enthusiastic message - often, the same message - to their favorite model, to pay for doing what they did before for free.In fact, messages sent after the end of the show are charged for 1 credit... This is the (White) Knight Move, just another cheap trick by brilliant Etv minds to squeeze some coins from the pockets of people like Giovanni... Post Scriptum: Whether it’s posted on the wall or not, every opinion is being read and passed to the models and the team behind the camera. Seems they, during the shows, have nothing other to do but reading the messages of the viewers. Now we know because the shows suck... again [...] in order to improve the atmosphere of working and filming [...] well, in order to improve the atmosphere, I would suggest you less use of smoking machine and don't forget to turn on the lights...

I used to send lots of comments during the Premium shows, full and 15 minute. I NEVER sent anything offensive to any girl, it's not in my nature to do this, if I don't like it, I don't watch it. I like to praise, make jokes and reference things we've talked about in the past, I will miss it. It's another unique ETV feature consigned to the scrapheap. The girls I like have often told me it's something they look forward to reading after the show and mention it when I call. Other than when the plasma is there in the studio for all to see, I know of no other occasion when the model can actually see the comments whilst performing. I believe they just go straight to a laptop. The director has to relay the message verbally to the model or she just won't be able to read them during her performance. This has happened a few times when they have altered a show live to fill a request I've made if it's a director the model gets along well with. There is one director who just doesn't let the model see any of the comments, good or bad, so your time is wasted, as if you were writing to 'The Wall'. So, it would seem there's a built-in buffer that the director can use to stop the girl receiving such comments, if they choose to.
My guess though, is that the majority of the critical or 'offensive' comments are directed not at the model but at ETV itself, including censorship issues, show content and, mostly, about the stability and quality of the actual stream. The only critical messages I send are on this very subject. The utter frustration I feel at having paid to see one of my favourite girls and then to see the stream fail or render a poor quality picture is something I feel I have the right to complain about. It's a recurring problem that never appears to be fully addressed. If there is someone who is consistently and unreasonably abusive surely their account can just be closed? Or, withdraw the ability to comment from that account and keep on taking his money... Dreamlander |

Well, I was including the unpleasant and offensive comments in the bad comments category. Anyway, everyone of us can have a personal and subjective meaning of what is unpleasant and offensive. Nothing new anyway. I support the critics, never the insults. I remember many times models being terribly insulted or publicly offended without any defense intervention from the team, even models crying. Terrible. If the goal of the messages was the interaction between models and viewers during the show, right now, because the making of shows with an artistic concept which gives no chances to a real interaction, the messages are meaningless. So nothing is lost, it was lost time ago.

Some of you remember the interactions in the old Els and when they said the daily premiums would not be directed, one only cam and that things? Ups, I am a nostalgic man. |

And mabe mark the hq stream as experimental... As it is now, you dont have any other option than to log out if the stream is struggling... (unless you dont choose to stream from this site & send messages from etv-site...) |
