Re: Eurotic's website & webstream

asking wiki or other sources you'll read that the first geishas were the otoko geishas.
and ... surprise, surprise ... otoko geishas were men.

some time later the onna geishas, the female geishas were introduced.
and the main topic of the geishas was singing, dancing, in short: entertaining

and now back to topic or you've been all posting in the WTF thread.

good enough ?

If for you it's good enough, I'm happy; after all there are people who believe in Reptilians. Smile

It seems to me that you are implying that you have a better source of information, which differs from this.
If so, could you please disclose so that we may be better informed.

Re: Eurotic's website & webstream

In my modest opinion, "Reserved Hour" is a big waste of money for ETV.
The reserved models are always the same, and are always models that in a "free" Els could gain much more, without considering the "disappointment" of other members and, in some cases, the "frustration" of some model who disappeared from web (that can be only a great luck, for what i think) maybe due to the fact that she can't have a normal Els without the astriction to stay all the time with one person only.
So, for ETV side, "reserved hours" are a really stupid option.
They could offer a reserved call (eg via Skype), without ruining the programmed ELS.

But everyone know they indeed are, as Heidi Fleiss girls were.

I've just done a search and I cannot find where you "stated before", could you point me towards that post.
And as for the rest, just more of the same unsubstantiated innuendo. Sad, really ...

Well, lots of people always trust Wikipedia instead of actually documenting themselves, I'm not surprised. Smile

Re: Eurotic's website & webstream

Hi!. According to wikipedia is not lying I just do not say anything.
The fact that they were educated and knew how to keep them company does not rule out that they actually were prostitutes. At this time, not only in Japan are such a girl-only women are "exclusive girls to society" and their company is very expensive.
But this is all we know?

being a real Geisha, i.e. a very well educated woman, was a highly honored profession and in case you were hinting at this, not a prostitute.

or did you mean something different ?

I'm just hoping you don't regard Wikipedia as the one and only truth. Confused

However, "prostitute" indeed wouldn't be the most accurate equivalence in Western culture. "Escort" would be more fitting.

Surely ETV's conception doesn't go beyond the reading of "Memoirs of a geisha", which would be like claiming that you can organize a real war after playing a game of Risk.

Re: Eurotic's website & webstream

What I meant was clear, and it didn't need Wikipedia (more reliable than "Britannia" and "Treccani") to be clarified.
Geishas were prostitutes for hypocrite clients.
And you haven't get surprised if most sexually pent-up culture won't name them as they actually were (and still are actually).
