Last nights show seemed to be a 'newbie show' for camera operators. Filming from a rowing boat in a force nine gale doesn't come across too well on the screen. Zooming a lens in quick stages rather than smoothly does nothing for the viewers eyes or the models efforts to put on a show. Zig zagging across the studio like a fly makes everybody dizzy. Yes- it takes practice to get the hang of a camera and produce smooth results. But shouldn't the familiarisation with the equipment be done during the day shows? Some of the night shows are struggling enough without having more reason not to watch.
