Another day at the Pizza palace

Roll up, roll up. The ETV pizza palace is open once more for business.

Lots of different toppings. Some are hot. Some are spicy. Some are even a little on the cold side. Plenty of variety to tempt you.

But, hey man, when I was last here, you served up a whole lot of different pizzas. In fact some of those were even hotter, more spicier than what is on your current menu. Ah, yes. You have to remember that we are no longer that little business that my father ran out of his front parlour. We serve lots of different people now. People that have different tastes. And if we do not adapt to these tastes we will not have a business. After all many of you still like some of our pizzas and we always try to bring in a few new varieties just to keep you interested. Make you come back for more.

But, man, what about that new exciting topping that you only had on the menu for a few weeks. Bordering on the hot, certainly by your current standards, and definately a little spicy. Surely that was a popular topping ? Indeed it was but there is something that you surely must understand in any business. Sometimes the ingredients that we use are quite scarce. Sometimes we can only obtain them for a few, short weeks. And while we would always hope to get some more they are often demanded elsewhere. Like it or not, this is often out of our control.

But, man, you confuse me all the more. That certain variety of topping that was once oh so hot and very, very spicy. You still have it on the menu but it is served not even warm but not quite cold. How can you say there is a demand for that. Well, my friend, this is the old story. If you only read the menu without actually trying the fare you cannot appreciate the flavour. Despite what you may think it is still as popular as it ever was.

So despite your moans and complaints I still expect to be serving my pizzas long after any competition which attempted to take away my core business. I found my market. If the market moves then I move with it. You do not stay in business if you tried to do what you did those years ago. Some of you will never understand that. But you may still enjoy some of my pizzas.

I well know, it maybe referred even to swimming pools, I didn't mention just beacuse it was a bit disgusting.

Well, Outside, there is more in that mushroom example as you ever think. Maybe you know the infection called athlete's foot in the English language. In German this is called "Fusspilz"; literally translated "foot mushroom". It is not a dangerous infection, but aggravating and displeasing. Just the same as the ETV mushroom shows'!

I actually was wrong, Pizza Palace still serves at least one kind of topping. You still can have there a very good pizza with mushrooms topping. Sure you know mushrooms usually stay down to the ground, just like girls' lower extremities.

Maybe the sign says "ONLY FEET AT DAYTIME".

It seems Pizza Palace (sure you know I come from pizza homeland) has been serving just baked bases, it seems they have finished their tomatoes, their cheese (of course they usually didn't put italian mozzarella di bufala), their ham, their mushrooms and whatever else to top.

Maybe they are going to turn Pizza Palace into a bakery, serving just bread, only bread, Or maybe they want to turn into a kebab house.

Now there's a big sign put of the Pizza Palace, "BRING YOUR OWN TOPPING".

Sorry for Latin, I just have to say "mala tempora currunt".

Unfortunately, nowadays, in ETV Pizza Palace, I don’t find all the varieties of pizza you said.
On the contrary, I find many varieties of “shit” !
