If any model defined why ETV was different and why ETV was special then it was Evah. Here was a model who shouldn't really have belonged on a channel like ETV but ETV had a history of being different, of being welcoming right from their earliest days. Many people often forget that she is still probably the youngest model ever to appear on ETV at the age of 18 years and 22 days. A pretty girl with no spectacular features but the whole was definitely better than the sum of the parts ( her bum, legs and belly on closer and lengthy inspection were objects of wonder). But she was bright, she was lively, she was sexy, she could speak in sentences. Everything that ETV were looking for. Except she wouldn't take her clothes off. But that was never an issue with ETV then (this board has always moaned) and with her other attributes made her the perfect model for some of us. I remember at that time she vied for my affection with Clio (another model who divided opinion) but Evah always had that extra spark.
Luckily for me, when I plucked up courage to speak to her, her English was fantastic (much better in person than on the mic) with a vocabulary superior to mine and with an easy natural style that made talking to her so enjoyable. Sometimes it was only afterwards I realised how complicated some of our conversations were. She laughed about her German and Italian but she was able to hold some decent conversations with what she had learned. She could even speak grunt and fickme if she had to but preferred not to! Evah took answering SMS messages to a new level. She was the first, and still one of the few, who answered rather than responded to a message. She would engage in a dialogue with the sender, developing elements of it as a joke or a gentle tease or to encourage a response. In the days when the day shows were properly managed, and messages were frequent, I could catalogue the "Wit and Wisdom" of Evah on a daily basis. Of course she was also responsible for the best day shows ever, during the summer of 2010. If ETV had the slightest interest in providing decent quality entertainment they should try to learn the lessons from that time. But of course the secret was that there was no interference, no format, no divisions. The models, directors and cameramen were all friends and happy to go with whatever direction the calls and texts took them. The result was sexy, fun, funny and entertaining and Evah was at the heart of it. Sadly this spirit was broken by the tightening of the rules and then, as a consequence, by the division between night and day shift and then between TV and web. Evah retreated to the morning shift where her personality was still allowed to flourish for a while away from management decisions and strategies. They were the days of models with actual opinions and personalities, models like Chelsea, Karry and Lia and directors like Janine and Aria. However once again this was choked by the demands of the web. Last year, due to other commitments, Evah was limited to one or two shows at the weekend and the occasional Reserved Exclusive, restricted to making more money for ETV. To those who complained about Evah not doing anything recently [a fallacy as she was more active than most if people looked beyond their prejudices and conflating her with Brona] what she was doing was her job. She was focusing on the telephone conversation not the viewer, talking with the customer not at them. That was how she was able to be so popular for so long with those who actually talked to her. Does anyone know how annoying nuisances like Angelina are, demanding that Evah does a web show when you are trying to have a conversation? Or someone wanting Evah to stick out her tongue when she is trying to tell you a story? At least I could enjoy her telling the director in a very direct way where to go when it got too much. And of course she could talk about everything. She was the best story teller bar none, stories that could make your sides ache or make you cry with laughter. And finally, and I suppose most importantly, she could be fantastically sexy. I contend that she is the best natural mover in ETV history and that if you were able, just for once, to forget about tits and pussy that she could do erotic as well as anyone else. At the heart of this decision lies the failure of ETV to decide whether they make more money through calls or Pay per View. Going back to Angelina's interference, was it better to have 1 credit per minute for a phone call or 4 credits for a web show? At the time they wanted both but now it looks like ETV have made their decision. It seems they have finally decided to forego calls and daytime TV to focus on the peepshow for a credit format and Evah's skills are no longer fashionable. What ETV are looking for are compliant models with marginal language skills who are willing to step behind the flashing light door and do a "turn" no matter how uncomfortable they feel. They are banking on that no-one will tire of Konny's handbras or the chance to see Melinda or Kateline's tits. They have given up on the daytime TV shows and telephone conversations that Evah was so good at. So pussy fetishists and fanny boys get your credit cards out. The days of subsidised viewing are over. Personally I hope this approach is a disaster and they fall on their cheap Reeperbahn curtain arses and when they do and they go back to Evah (its happened before) she tells them where to stick their Daily Exclusives! If you ever read this Evah can I say that you have my thanks for all the exceptional fun and entertainment you gave this shy Scotsman over many years. It was a blast! Thank you! That maybe true but would probably be better for viewers cos they would have a really good reason to complain if they have to pay to watch anything! I will miss evah though she was always polite when answering messages even when she didn'y like the message
