The girls page votes (and voters)

I dug this thread out from obscurity to raise this point, mainly directed to OldGrizzly and/or Mr. Pink:-
Earlier today somebody posted a snapshot of the models votes in the eUrotic TV forum. There was no acknowledgement of the source or explanation of how the votes and subsequent ratings are derived, leaving a fairly meaningless result (which is now well out of date).
So, to the point. Is information on this website classed as public domain and therefore freely usable by anyone or does does this contravene a copyright?

Kaleya and Randa (and Gia eventually) were always going to slip back as the voting system seems to favour "new" arrivals in the short term.

General comment

Actually having had a look at the top 10 it seems to be a fairly good summary of who are the current stars of Eurotic tv. Kaleya and Randa (and Gia eventually) on the evidence of recent shows are living on past reputation and are finding it difficult to adjust to the new conditions (as indeed are many of the board members here). Many of the voters may not even remember them from their previous incarnations.

I would also defend Clio and Maria. They are never going to get their kit off but at least they try to entertain and/or engage. I would much rather see Clio fiddling with her boobs than all the schedule fillers like Athina, Maraya, Tiffany etc etc who take their kit off with metronomic precision and no enthusiasm. That is why I give special praise to Sabrina and Carmen (although not my taste particularly) because getting kit off with enthusiasm is a rare event these days.

And that would also be my main criticism of ETV . They have taken far too long to adjust to a new of way of working They should really have come up with a schedule by now that exploits the rules as much as they are allowed to at any given time of day not, as at present ,the same shows but with tits at night. The dressing up show yesterday with the opportunity to swap clothes and give each other massages was a potential step forward for a daytime show if everyone had got involved but it was so half hearted. Time for a radical overhaul ETV!

I miss the category for the girls hot, warm and cold maybe sometimes it's very useful.

Yesterday there was a guy wanting Malena to do fullstrip and he writes 4 or 5 SMS. Malena don't do nothing as usual. You have to rent a painter in the studio otherwise she refuses everything but anyway.

This guy could save a lot of money if he knows what a girl can do and what she don't do. maybe a short description of the girl could help. Most of them never change there behaviour.

voting for models depends on 2 main rules

appearance (including face, body, breast size....etc)

activity in the shows, which means how a model acts in a show (stripes or not, doing eurotic movements or not)

in a preview to the votes list we can divide the girls into 4 groups

1st group: pretty models who do stripe and make eurotic acts, for instance: Angie, Inez, Carmen

2nd group: pretty girls who are very well taking poses infront of the camera with nothing else to do, for instance: Malena, Gia, Clio

3rd group: non-eurotic girls doing stripe, like: Penelope, Mimosa

4th group: non-eurotic girls (andI didn't say non-pretty) intend the show just to appear on the screen, like Brona, Monna

now, if we go back to everyone's taste, we can ignor the 1st group and pay attention to the rest of the groups, and no need to say that the 1st group is the most important and the 4th group is the worst one, nevertheless, we're shocked when we see that the 4th and the worst group takes place in the top of the bloody list though the channel's name is EUROTIC, so, where's the EUROTIC thing when we see a girl doing nothing EUROTIC?!!!!!!

how? and why? nobody has got an answer

is it for fashion? well, we could see many and many other channels that present girls fashion shows

I think its a pretty darn bloody good and intelligent rating system!

if the number of models is 12 (Babeworld tv) and I give 15 points, the system is OK ...is it a bug ?

If some members are rating one time per 5 weeks, you have the same problem...
This system (it's my opinion) must be stay with one rate per day.

3) This model ranking is just a game and must be funny. No real importance if Scarlet is number one for her nose or her right foot and Mimoza can come back tonight with the same smile !

Put a click and rate again !!!!

Like I said in my response. The rating is a reflection of popularity. But its the same with any election. Those that do not vote(as often as others) complain the most when they see the result.

If a member wishes to use his time and vote every day then it's his perogative. He probably considers that to be is valued contribution to this site and who am I to deny him that.

It's the concept of "moving average", and it's OK.

As regards my consideration, I simply think this (just to make an example):

Now there is a very high probability that:

1)The member who said this thing comes in this forum and gives kaleya 5 stars every 24 hours, indipendently from Kaleya's performance.
2)Many members have this behaviour (lovers)
3)A common member (not models' lover) or occasional member gives,for example, one vote a week.
Having seen the performance of last night he could give 2 stars,for example, to Kaleya.

With the current system you have that these 2 members add a total of 37 ( 5(stars)*7(days) + 2 ) points to Kaleya's total in a week.Probably this doesn't produce great variations on Kaleya's total from week to week, because the lovers' votes acquired in a week by a model are nearly the same lost (for the concept of a moving average).
But the difference can be seen comparing Kaleya's total (our example) with other models who have not this kind of lovers.In this way we can find Kaleya always round about 10 and Sandra, for example, round about 25, and this has a low dipendence from their performances.

For this reason I thought that 1 vote a week for all members is a way to have a more realistic ranking.

One mathematical result of that system is: The votes from one forum member have no great influence for the "old" models who are longer than 30 days in that girls page and have many points. But the vote for a new model (for expl. Gia) has a great influence because it has not many points. So it explains that Gia fell down in the ranking very fast from 1st to 9th place - all members of the forum who doesn`t like her gave her 0 points! Such a quick crash is not possible with an "old" model.

Although, as bellerophon states, the voting system has indeed been explained in mathemeatical detail before, I am sure that there are many new members unable to find that explanation. I am equally sure that there are also still many members who think the system is somewhat manipulated over and above what is already discusssed in this topic.

With this in mind, I will now attempt to explain the system :

1. The total votes you see are an aggregate of the last 30 days for each model. At the start of the new day, all the votes of the oldest day are discarded and during the current day the votes of each model will increase. I will now illustrate this. At 23:00 (CET) last night I took a snapshot of the voting direct from the website (I have no direct access to this database). A short while ago, I took another snapshot and I now show you the votes of the top six girls :-

Scarlet now has 3635 votes against 3732 last night
Sabrina now has 3545 votes against 3614 last night
Regina now has 3492 votes against 3560 last night
Mashiara now has 3452 votes against 3526 last night
Gia has now has 232 votes against 182 last night

So you will see that with the exception of Gia all the girls' total votes has descreased. This is exactly what I would expect at this time of day.

2. The system stores the total number of votes. It also stores the total number of voters. This is the critical number since each voter can give up to 5 votes for each model there then exists a maximum total potential number of votes per girl expressed as 'total number of voters' * 5

3. Since each member has to rate very model the total number of voters in the system should be the same for each girl except where a) the model is new( or long absent) and has just been included in the system or b) the model was temporarily removed in the thought of no longer being active. Gia, Brona and Nicole will fit into this first category. Randa and Jenifer seem to fit into the second category as their ranking is not consistent with the total number of votes.

4. The total number of votes for the model is then expressed as a percentage of the total number of potential votes. If no percentages were done then all new entries would end on the bottom of the table and that in itself would not reflect the popularity of the model. And at the end of the day this is what the system actually is - a popularity poll.

5. All these percentages are then totalled and expressed as a percentage of the total. So you then see the total number of votes and this final percentage.

6. The only difference is that now the system can also record the results of the previous day so you can see who is 'hot' and who is 'not'

Since I had nothing better to do last night, I took the total snapshot and prepared an excel spreadsheet which you can download from [hidden link - please register]. The first two columns are the results as presented at 23:00. The next two colums were a trial and error to obtain the total number of voters and potential votes as it then stood (as I said, I have no access to the actual database). To maintain integrity, only the figure for the top girl can be changed - the rest must be the same except of the new or re-introduced girls. So every girl apart from those has 791 voters. The final two columns are the percentages as discussed at 4) and 5). I trust that you will appreciate that the final results are quite consistent with what the system reported at 23:00. There are minor variations which could be explain by rounding but non of these actually affect the net result.

You can also play around with this spreadsheet yourself and alter the number of votes for each girl just to see what happens. But rememer, if you do not want to cheat, you must alter the numbers for each girl AND the total number of voters. For this colum only D3 can be changed or those that have less than 791 voters. Also, do not enter a number of voters which would give a total number of potential votes less than the number of actual votes as that is an impossible scenario.

I have the opinion that many occasional members of this forum (and occasional viewers of ETV) give their vote only in dependance of the little face pictures in the model thread - and the quality and simiarility of these pictures with the original model is often very different. For example: Sabrina`s and Viviana`s pictures now are good and similiar to them, Carmen`s and Nikita`s pictures are terrible! My proposal: No picture of the model!

If I would vote. my votes would be based on the pretty face only. I don't care about performances as I do no longer watch the channel. How would you rate the performance of a couch potato? Do you think miss Universe 2009 was selected on her short presentation or on the size of her boobs? *)

However, when I did vote, long long time ago, I noticed I had difficulty getting my vote passed, as I did not enter enough stars in total, so my attempt was refused by the system and as a consequence I had to add stars to girls I did not like!

I would gladly add negative stars too, plenty of girls in that rating that do not deserve to be up there.

*) Once a guy needed a new secretary, so he organized an interview with three potential candidates. In order to test their honesty he came up wth following trick. In the midst of the interview he would have an employee ask for assistance, so he could leave the room, and on the way out he would 'accidently' have a fifty <local currency> bill dropping from his trouser pocket..

The first candidate put the money in her purse and when asked claimed she never saw anything.

The second candidate reluctantly admitted that she had picked the dropped money and gave it back.

I agree with bellerophone but also need to add something. The rating itself also shows how sick some people are watching these same models for years now and that they are in need for fresh faces (read asses). I cant see it anyway different, because I am also sick of girls like nikita or lilian or angie or jessy, athina, tessa...The only two old goats that can still excite me are sabrina and kaleya. Jennifer? Amanda? Still I also vote for nicole, gia, and brona...yes simply because we have so few beautiful girls nowadays. OK for brona I will not vote, because sshe sucks big time, I mean her performance.
