Didn't know you were a Dundee FC supporter Sore Arse Smile First it was Liverpool, then it was Hamilton, then you had the sectarian Red hand of Ulster as your avator. So happy that you find time to waste your time. Knock yourself out because nobody here pays a blind bit of notice of anything you post anyhow Smile

Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

Sadly Ralkin we got knocked out of the Betfred Cup last night by our near neighbours Dundee however it must be said just what a wonderful advert the game was for Scottish football and football in general. So many times and particular in countries such as Italy and Germany the emphasis is very much on tactics which is a very patient and strategic brand of football which for the neutral with no affinity for either team it can be a bit like watching a game of chess.

Last nights Dundee derby was anything but, it had pace, blood, guts and thunder. The tackles were rough and the match was played at breakneck speed. The reason Scottish teams used to do so well in Europe was that the European teams just couldn't handle the way we played. They aren't used to constant waves of attacks with barely a second to draw breath. All in all last nights game was a great match for the neutrals. Us Scots did afterall invent the beautiful game so take note Juventus and co! Big Grin

Naturally I am disappointed but not too disheartened as winning the league is the most important thing for my team this season and anything we achieve in the cup is very much a bonus. I would rather lose a cup tie than lose 3 points in a league match. To answer your question as to why Rangers are referred to as sevco these days. Back in 2012 when the club went bust and subsequently liquidated the company that bought the old Rangers over was called sevco. Hence the reason all opposition fans always taunt the Rangers fans by singing you're no Rangers anymore and they always bite. The huns are very easy to wind up Big Grin

Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

Yeah, you're right about Sevco being all for the Queen and the Union and yet didn't pay their taxes. Shameful! By the way, Why do you call them sevco? As for Celtic, I do have plenty of experiences and examples of their fans behaving quite well in Scotland, and in Europe apart from the odd few morons who start chanting their vicious and pernicious IRA songs and glorifying bombing and violence. I'm watching your team the Tangerines playing your rivals Dundee at the moment, Good luck!Thumb up

In an ideal world Ralkin123 we also want Celtic to win fuck all too, however realistically I just cannot see past them not winning the league. They have the best squad and will most likely win the league once again by an absolute country mile. Strangely as much as I hate there team sweeping the rest aside I don't really have any real beef with their supporters because in general they don't tend to house the same number of absolute morans that sevco do. I can tolerate their fans as to say. Wouldn't it be great if Rangers were relegated or better than that liquidated or found out again for cheating and punted all the way down again to Scotlands lowest Division oh how I'd laugh if any of these scenarios were to come true Big Grin

Funny how a team that is all for the Queen forgot one very important act and that was to pay tax to her majesty Blush
