Germany, German Empire or German Reich?

I'm not very sure... Last time I talked to germans, it was all about money and freedom. Well, I understand and I respect the german problems.
The "€" (Money) is blaming europe and the entire Europeans!

But what does Germany want?

Do YOU, the Germans around here, more favor the 90's - Deutsche Mark?

Do you want the GDR Mark back?

Or do you want the Reichs Mark back? I spended a lot of time to understand the German Situation and matter´of fact is the Germans never had to lose
the Reichs Mark! They have a damn great history - Specially during 1874 and 1914!!!!
The first worldwar may just destroyed the German Reich.

I'm not sure with all I have readin' but I say Germany ist still a German Reich! Thumb upHeart

Do you Germans agree with me?

I just say this is really what I figured out while checking the books and I was reading A LOTTA books!!!!! Smile

Similar to Italy, Netherlands, Belgium... (to name just a few).

Occupied? From who? I ever see all people, all humans, in germany. So, who is this foreign military force you are talking about and what to do to end this force? ConfusedHeart

But I understand - it all is the problem of the world war 2! no one need a 3rd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...! Heart

The problem is what happend to this Land after 1871! Thumb downCrySad

I will say there is a way to be proud of home like here in my home for germany too! but there has something to end - POLITIC! Thumb down

Re: Germany, German Empire or German Reich?

Today they all discuss the beginning of the worldwar one in 1914. Sad
this happend! i think so...
but that is the past!
we all live in 2014 and not in 1914!
one way is to forget it all - but there are important facts nobody talks about!

what was the beginning? when did they all - ALL - felt like one big people?!

the germany i know today is sad about traditions, forgotten old ways of living and they just want a change.

I see switzerland too - they always hided and they don't use this European money €!
I think, myself, they do it correct. What if Europe would take a leadership of the world?
It would be like in the 30's and 40's in the 1900eds! (Hilter)

I still ask:

What does germany wants????????

A: back to the 90s - a collective "Land" - DeutschLAND - with the DM as money and like Switzerland - NO EU

B: back to the 60s - two different flags (GDR) and two different - btw each other hating - "Land" like 2 totally different countries

C: back to the 30s - war? Cry

D: back to the like what the german reich once was in the years before 1871 - good money - everyone doing his own stuff - NO POLITICS

so you have to choose!
I am glad and i love my german family and friends!
but there is a big problem: they all, germany, can not say "Einigkeit" (unity)!!!! because they are NOT!

Re: Germany, German Empire or German Reich?

AMITA T. It's not the fact that the rest of Europe hates Germany it's that they can't understand why when after WW2 the rest of Europe came to the aid of Germany and helped them back to their feet but today Germany through their bank kick Europe?.

I am no economist but i think returning to Deutsche Mark would equal a economic crisis and we get told that if we never had switched to € we couldn't be keeping up with the world market and would be having great trouble getting any fair commercial agreement or the likes.

The term "German Reich" is mostly associated with Hitler and you shouldn't just write it without referring to the specific time period and even then its an imperialistic time which is also not very honorable in my opinion. OK, don't get me wrong i think we had a great and exiting history but for me the things in the past don't compare to the present. Freedom, Peace, Rights and wealth are the greatest achievements we have and we are trying to give this to everyone in Europe. At least I hope so Confused

Ok. Thanks for these great answers! But there are many mistakes and problems when I'm in germany I see more and more people like you speaking about that it was better before and now it's blaming for germany and i have no idea what I would do as Politic! Tongue Sorry, but I just have a german family... HeartHeartHeartHeart

First, I didn't thought any would read this! Woa!!!!
Thanks for all these Informations!!!!! Thumb upThumb upThumb upThumb up

But, why is the world still doing what Politics are talking? Confused

Hey, these are HUMANS too! Or...? Hum... Aliens? In loveBig Grin

I just say that german people I have seen want the DM back and others talk about they wanna have the "Reich" back.
And personally, I can understand both of them!

What I can not understand is why nobody of the Politics is listening to those people! ConfusedConfusedConfused

The Europe everyone is seeing is NOT what they are talking about! Thumb down

So I just ask myself What does Germany, a once big big piece of the pie that the world still is, wants? Confused

Same with Russia - excatly the same! But no money question. They have a war - I hate war! AngryAngryAngry

Everyone - the whole World - we could ALL live in freedom! HeartHeartHeartHeart

So, what to do????
