Unique plateau Sigiriya
Sigiriya - rocky plateau towering 370 meters above sea level and 170 meters above the surrounding plain in the heart of the island of Sri Lanka.
According to legend, the castle in plateau built by King Kasyapa plateau at the end of the 5th century BC.
Plateau is located in the heart of the island.Since 1982 Sigiriya is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
